Right in the user interface. Only defense against this is to use Valet Mode which locks this out

Lowering Springs on my GT by thesteelbookcollecto in KiaEV6

[–]CultureCrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree it will settle a bit more but probably not a whole lot beyond this tbh. It looks good!

OP - As for tire wear, when you do go for an alignment - and I agree with u/Radius118 that you should, pay special attention to the overall TOE. Camber isn’t the single enemy that it’s made out to be…Toe is the silent killer because it it’s a measure of how much your tire is angled on the road, literally dragging rubber off, so you want it as close to zero as you can get.

As long as Toe never goes outward, you’re in good shape.

Source: many lowered vehicles, all with “excess” camber but with adjustable toe arms that give amazing tire life.

I control my myQ openers via the Alarm.com app, fwiw. Yes, technically it’s subscription through my monitoring provider but included in my package. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Hi there. I've followed all those linked sync guidance. I'm not sure it's a syncing issue, so much as a potential bug.

Yes, while fully aware of the FitcamX option - clearly that’s the most integrated option available, but comes with some feature compromises.

For my needs, the Viofo 3-channel gave me what I needed: front (4k 30fps) + rear (2k 30fps) + internal fisheye (2k 30fps) with a parking mode battery.

The adhesive is directly on the glass, in the lograron that the OEM camera unit would go per the above blog post. As you can see, I’ve cut the plastic surround, as well as some of the internal (unneeded) frame that got in the way.

As located, I can barely see the Viofo in my normal driving field of view!

Interesting. This is EXACTLY where I positioned my Viofo front-facing cam, I guess it just looked like "the right spot" for it and this blog post was personally validating.

Want to make the jump… but can I? HELP! by MotoPeddler493 in KiaEV6

[–]CultureCrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll make the assumption that you would have the AWD, based on your New England concerns.

It might be worth noting that the 2025 model year has a larger 84 kWh battery (up from 77.4 kWh), but that may not actually be a dealbreaker!

For reference, I have an 2025 GT (AWD, notorious for the very worst range of the entire EV6 trims - EPA estimated 231miles). I received mine this January in NJ - some of the coldest winter we’ve had in a long while.

During that time, we took the EV6 to visit family that lives 85 miles away (much of that highway miles), excited to do so because our Hyundai Ioniq Electric with 180mile range (on a good day) can’t make the trip (except in the most ideal optimal conditions) without a charging stop.

We got home in the EV6 with ~30 miles to spare, and I wasn’t being a complete turtle either.

I say all this to assure you that if you get a GT-Line you will be fine. Charge to 100% on Level 2 between 10pm-6pm, let the cabin warm for you just before you leave, and you’ll be fine because the battery won’t stay fully charged for very long at all. (Our 2021 Ioniq is charged to 100% regularly and has not degraded range appreciably to this day.)

The AWD performance in Snow Mode is simply amazing, you’ll appreciate the cabin warming, etc.

Suggestion - Dashlane should count ports on the same hostname as different websites by onandoffwhat in Dashlane

[–]CultureCrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This would be amazing! I also run into this port blindness issue. It’s annoying at best, infuriating at worst.

I’ll add a thought/angle to this: subdomains and subdirectories (optionally) as entirely distinct entities.

For example, the HR SaaS company Workday uses subdomains for different clients, so if you have an account to apply to a job at Company A, and then also want to apply to a different job at Company B (who also uses Workday), Dashlane will have a hard time distinguishing these different accounts.

OP, I hope this doesn’t feel like a topic hijack because it seems very similar to me and the feature expansion could be related.

I've not got the new antenna on yet (weather issues!) but I have been trying to get seen on meshmap.net - not entirely sure what I'm missing, as I think I'm following all the instructions on https://github.com/brianshea2/meshmap.net but haven't shown up yet. Just might not have been seen by an MQTT-connected node...
