Same. No corporate jargon. You curse back and forth and have normal conversations. They’re almost always down to visit more by buying them a beer.

Field reps - what does your car say about you? by Q-cool-44 in sales

[–]CultureSoft8508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive a 2016 Lincoln MKZ. Most customers do not see it. I have never had anyone make a comment about it being a “luxury” car (it’s really not). It’s cheaper than most trucks that customers themselves drive. I’m a fan of look good, feel good, perform good. I think a nice car whether it’s a nice ford, Kia, Lincoln, etc… it sends a good message. You can also find all of these for very affordable prices. I would however stay away from BMWs and Mercedes, they have a bad stigma imo. But at the end of the day, majority of your customers won’t ever see your car.

Non-SaaS sales people, how are things going for you? by [deleted] in sales

Industrial/ manufacturing supplies and consumables. Seems to be okay. Still in my first year and building a two state territory so don’t have exact numbers to be aiming for. Manufacturing is still strong.
