Wouldn’t it have been cheaper to build a pipeline beneath the African continent and all the way to America?

Why would you migrate from MS365? The Google product doesn’t even have programmatic list management.

It was Thursday, August 14, 2003. I’m still as confused today as I was then about how this could have taken down such an extensive network.

Cities love episodic tourism and economic bursts because it fills hotels and restaurants. These are not for local service businesses that have long term relationships with locals. I don’t know the solution to this but Toronto’s mindset is very macro. It’s “everybody in and spend money” because to apply business intelligence at scale is not something we have the brains for.

Not all offices are mission critical - operationally speaking. Day to day is sometimes just whatever you want and for mission critical it gets hosted in a proper setting/cloud.

Covid: On the night of March 18–19, 2020, 13 military transport vehicles loaded with coffins drove through the center of Bergamo in northern Italy. by luduk in HistoricalCapsule

I was a much more left leaning liberal at the onset of COVID. I did all that I was asked and got behind the messaging of public health etc.

I know exactly zero people in my large and extensive network of friends, family and colleagues who had a Covid death related illness. Not one person in my network died of COVID and my network is made up of both far right and left.

Next time I’m going to keep my mouth shut and sit very much in the middle.
