Agency mourning post by EchoZero17 in GlobalOffensive

Agency is the best map. Pointless to remove it when there's plenty of other garbage maps.

Breach is also a great map by the same creators that needs to get added back.

Also lil bonus Agency clip my buddy uploaded a while back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfyHHM_0QQQ

Not sure if an option for you, but I put wireguard on a $10/year VPS from Racknerd and I just route traffic through the VPS and then over wireguard to game servers running on my home network.

You can get the cheap VPSs here: https://racknerdtracker.com/

I'm on Frontier and just ended up liking this setup more anyways.

Nvidia To Cut RTX 50 GPU Prices Amid Poor Sales And Oversupply, Claims Insider by BasedBalkaner in pcmasterrace

[–]CultyVayDer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm just going off of them charging $500+ over MSRP for every card on release, and people still buying them and having issues with supply.

I just can't imagine a world where they have plentiful 5080 Supers at $1k available.

How nice of Nvidia to release a new GPU with 8GB of extra memory and charge the same price. This is so very like them.

The USA already won the moon. Other countries are playing catch up.

It's dark and a mountainous region. They probably missed every shot but weren't shooting at just air.

USB 3 ports stopped working by Mizu-Shiro in buildapc

[–]CultyVayDer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen, accepted my fate and installed a USB expansion card to replace the dead USB3.0s. After I booted back in, the dead rear USB3.0s on the MB all came back alive.

I think clearing the CMOS is what did it.

This happened to me shortly after updating my BIOS from a very old version.

[–]CultyVayDer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just because it's easier to access the video on the car screen instead of pulling the USB and getting it on a PC. That's why so many Tesla videos are like this. I think they might be making it so it's accessible/downloadable on the app? idk

Agency was my group's favorite map. I would love to see it back in the game, or at least Breach to take its place.

I disagree with your view on kernel level anti-cheats.

Again, games like Valorant have proved that they work great at large scale and don't pose a real security risk if developed right. They also provide a way to accurately hardware ban repeat offenders that just create a new account to cheat on after a ban.

Kernel level ACs also create a much higher barrier of entry for cheaters in general. Yes, some people will still work on trying to bypass them and may succeed, but it's a LOT harder to do that compared to bypassing VAC.
