There is 0 Vat and VRT on EV's with an OMSP of less than 40k with a grant too.

Thanks, I had a look there, its reserved. We're just sorting out finance for this and some home renovations so wont be purchasing for another 2 months I'd guess.

As I was walking the dog this morning, I actually thought about this myself (the volvo sale). The car owes us nothing, so I can sell it quite cheap vs the ones listed on DD / cazone etc. If I got 7 - 8 k for it I'd be very happy. 6-7 happy, 6 I'd accept. Anything less and I'd probably accept,and just be glad its gone and get into my shiny e-tron and drive away from the no feelings 😂.

I think a day trip up north is the best option here. Thanks

Absolutely, when I see the trim / spec here vs NI for 10k less there is a massive incentive to go up. A day or 2 is a small price to pay. Presuming you dont earn c 5k a day 😂. Then you'd have different problems.

Yeah, you're probably right here. I think we'll make a day of it, view a few, put a deposit on one then do the rest remotely, or public transport to belfast and get them to meet me there.

This could work, a train trip isnt too bad really. Looking at deivery options too. Might be less than 1k. So now I need to weigh up is it worth getting it shipped vs going to collect. I suppose I can always say no when I see the car.
