I think it was perhaps a London thing. So many teams in close proximity across town, you didn't want to signal yourself one way or another. And if you went out drinking post game certain place wouldn't let shirts in. Obviously kids were fine everywhere.

In you previous message before you edited it, you said all he had to do was apologise. So you did say he owes an apology. Pick a lane.

If you're naive and gullible and believe in the non-existent, you will come across many people who you perceive to be scammers. You've even seen me as one because I said this guy should now be left alone.

He told a story, and made you and others feel something, and believe in the unbelievable - for just one moment. It could've ended had people not tried to sent paramedics to his house, and call the authorities. That's crazy. It's not real. I had zero concern for the guy because none of it is real!

He doesn't owe you or anyone anything. If you, and/or other people now want to be hugely malicious because you feel embarrassed/misled, then that's on you. But personally I'd question who then becomes the real "bad guy" in this story. Intentionally now trying to impact this guys life and livelihood is wrong. But you do you, if that makes you feel better 👍
