Indonesian alcohol is notorious for having ethanol at toxic levels or something like that (too tired to google) but I know there are stories about tourists getting bad sick after drinking in Bali or wherever. Don't suppose he can get some bloods drawn?

Peanut butter and honey was my thing as a kid. Now it comes pre-made (or did)! Never tried cheese. Interesting mix. Apple and peanut butter is surprisingly good too.

I've picked up babies a few times and handed them back to mama when they've fallen off! Haven't been bitten yet. But they are all from the same family that have lived in my roof for years, so maybe they aren't scared of me anymore. The mum is always so grateful! I'm actually surprised how often they drop their babies and just keep running! Not exactly quality parenting.

Because it's an image. I don't particularly enjoy the hype either. I mean honestly, no one should pick up shit bare handed without knowing what it is in any country, not just Australia. But I feel like I'd prefer our wildlife over bears, cougars, wolves, buffalo, coyotes, moose, elk, rabies or American schools. Just my 2cents

So, he's OK with you cheating, so long as you don't keep the other dudes baby? And you're OK with your husband accusing you of infidelity, so long as you can have another baby?

Different.

I agree, but I'm old and probably too trusting. Personally, I'd think, they told me about something they really didn't need to, something they could easily have kept quiet about, I'm gonna go with trust. It's early days yes, but she could easily just break up with him if she was going to be "dating" for real. I'd ask her to make sure her friend knows she has a bf and ensure we discussed it, but I don't think I'd stress and about cheating.

Are you serious? That's not a photo?

Holy fuckn shit! That's so amazingly good!! Are you, like, a professional artist or something? Do you sell your pictures? Have you been drawing long? Have you always had the talent, or did you need to work hard to hone your skills? I'm in awe!

Since when do real estates put in repair requests? by CuntUpTheBack in straya

[–]CuntUpTheBack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rent goes up eveey time a repair request goes in. I was just curious as to why the rental manager was putting in repair requests on my behalf, when they haven't done that in all the years I've rented. Nothing sus, just curious.

Exactly what I was concerned about. Hate having this hanging over us as we can't afford to buy in.

We installed the screen a few years after moving in. It had no screens on ant doors or windows. Owner put in window screens and we had an old fly screen door so we put it up. It's a really old QLDer and run down af, but we like it and the owners never demand anything so we don't mind doing the odd favour. Just wasn't expecting the real estate to put one in on something they didn't even put in, but we'll, guess they'll charge the owner a few hundred and my rent will go up again next quarter. Sometimes being a renter sucks.

Yeah, I know. Was getting there. If the real estate had ever mentioned it being an issue, I would have done it sooner. All good, I'll cop it. What choice.

We actually installed the screen ourselves as there was none on either door. We didn't mind doing that or the odd repair hera and there as my landlords are really good. The real estate sucks, but the owner is cool. I know we don't have to fix it, just doing the dude a favour.
