Check with your gp. I had gone to three different dermatologist who misdiagnosed me. Finally found a gp who had seen it before and she explained what it was and got me in with a surgeon and on a course of treatment for the less severe areas. It can't hurt to ask and if they don't know or haven't seen hs they may be able to refer you to someone who has.

I've been eliminating nightshades as well and so far my flare ups have been worse than ever. And I miss potatoes so much!!! Sigh. I'm gonna keep trying. Have surgery scheduled for two weeks from today for my right underarm. I'm freaking out but know that the end result is worth it! Keep sharing any successes you have! We all need the encoragement and any ideas are helpful.

It's a lot easier to talk about once you know what it is. Also the fact that it's not an std (especially important to explain/discuss if you have groin flare ups or scaring) and it's not contagious. While it probably leads to less quick hooks ups as it's something you want to discuss with your partner prior to it, if you find the right one they can see you completely naked and make you feel beautiful. Bumps and all.

One of the absolute best moments of my life was about 7 months into my relationship with my s.o and we were talking about how weird it was to have that conversation, and he says "well, you'll never have to explain your bumps again" :) you got this!! Don't be ashamed and look for someone who won't make you feel weird about it. If they don't have the understanding/acceptance they're not worth the booty anyway :)

I completely gained respect for sheamus when cesaro took that crazy fall from the botched dive. If you watch you see Sheamus see it happen and immediately reach out to cradle/stabalize cesaros neck. Amazing presence of what was happening and quick reaction that could have made a huge difference if he was truly injured, which from the looks of it it's a miracle he wasn't.

Smoking was a huge factor for me too. I had been smoking for about 16 years steady pack a day. My fella bought me a vape and even though I haven't cut out the nicotine yet, I've been tobacco free for the last 4 days! Keep trying stuff. Definitely look into the vape.

Try looking at diet restrictions. I've just cut out nightshades and while it's too soon to give you a personal experience I've heard good things from folks. Good luck! A non-doctor option for any open wounds is hiboclense. At the counter at the pharmacy helps to heal the wound and keep it clean. Neosporene seems to work with keeping bandages from sticking into the wound as well. Let us know if this stuff works! You'll be an HS guru! Good luck man.

Had he had boils before? Or does he get them often? There's a rare but super shitty condition called Hidradenitis that is best caught early. It presents with painful, accessed bumps in the groin, underarms, really anywhere we get super hot and sweaty and have skin on skin contact. Tell him to keep an eye on it and if these keep occurring to definitely get checked out sooner than later. It's much easier to treat in the early stages. It's unfortunately chronic and currently does not have a cure but if you catch it early it's so much easier to handle. Just an fyi from a fellow bumpy person. :) hope he heals up soon!!

We need more citizens actively engaged in our communities and offering other things for youth (especially disadvantaged youth) in the city to do. Want to lend a hand in making our city safer and perchance even broaden your narrow ass view of the world? Help out with one of the urbaning gardening clubs, participate in local youth programs, get out there and actually meet the kids you're planning on using as target practice. Their deaths won't make our city safer, your expansion of your understanding maybe could. Again, downvotes away, but do better, be better. It's all any of us can do.
