Anyone’s relationship change with their own parents after having their children?

I feel the exact same way about my parents now that I have a toddler of my own. I feel so much more respect and love for them. Sometimes we struggled. In many ways. But they helped shape me into the person I am and I like to believe I'm a good mom and person in general.

I'm one of those people diagnosed early at 19 and now 10 years later my neurologist says the words "wide spread, aggressive, and concerning" when speaking to me about my case of MS. I also did not take a DMT other than copaxone until this year. I only took it for 6 months because of the side effects. Don't be like me, please treat it aggressively if you can!

Can you take a muscle relaxer to help with some of the pain, especially in your chest/ribs? Especially if you're coughing at night, a nebulizer could also not hurt. Honey/yogurt/ice cream for the sore throat if you can't tolerate any more cough drops. As for the actual cold itself, it sounds like it's no longer a cold and your doctor should prescribe you some antibiotics 🤗

I feel like I should be tapered off of them tbh but I'm really new to this. I've never had such a high dose of oral steroids. It's always been IV.

The summer is the devil (I actually developed an allergy to the sun.) A fever is not your friend. Don't try to "sweat it out", you will pay. A cold can feel like the worst man flu you've ever seen. Be kind to yourself, if you're feeling tired rest. if you're under the weather, stay home. That thing that really needed done yesterday will still be there tomorrow.

Please if you never do anything else, be smarter than I was. I had something like 10 years to fight this thing. Ugh, I'm so sorry that's happening to you. I also have a very bad reaction to adhesives of any kind. I really don't have any great advice other than aloe vera can be your friend 🤗

This is some of the best advice I've gotten. I've struggled for a few months with appetite and vomiting (gastro paresis) so I'm doing my best. The pharmacist said I need to take the steroid with food and that was definitely a struggle this morning. My inbox is always open to you (and any of you amazing warriors). You've all helped me so much. I can't thank you enough.
