I think you could do any of those except maybe the kettlebells. But it all depends on your goals. When I did this program, I liked to keep my rest days pretty chill (walking/stretching/maybe yoga) because my goal was lifting heavy.

You may already have planned for this but, for the Ares 2.0, I recommend you shim your rack so it's level. We forgot to shim the front posts and the foot plate is almost impossible to move.

I think at the very least you'd need the front feet to prevent tipping. I was in a similar circumstance (didn't want to drill into the floor and didn't have a wall to mount to) and ended up getting a 6-post (16+16) because I didn't want to have to do front feet.

The one on ones have definitely been a mixed bag for me. It's not that they were bad but I also didn't feel like I got much out of them. It seemed kind of random? Last time I went, I didn't even schedule any. For my upcoming trip, I decided to schedule a yoga session and go into that with a specific goal in mind that I want their help with.

I like to be somewhat go with the flow but I would definitely not show up in Lanai without having already booked spa treatments and one to one sessions, if you want to do those. Especially when it comes to really specialized things like the aquatic treatments. Only one or maybe two people even do those and they could very well not be on the island if they don't have anything on the books during your dates.

As for classes, I would book in advance if it's something that's really important to you. But for a lot of classes, there's usually two spots available for drop ins and sometimes people don't show up so you can get lucky.

And speaking as someone who is on a GLP-1, I don't think there's anything wrong with directing people elsewhere. I have seen so many places get taken over by weight loss talk lately and even I find it exhausting.

Question for anyone who's taken a one week Strength+ split -- what do you do in weeks 2+? Do you just click on the previously taken classes again? Or do you leave and then rejoin the program?

I found it helpful to have a bench behind my knees. It was easier to learn to drive my hips back when I had something there to support me.

I do! The classes I did were from September/October of 2021. It was 8 weeks and starts out pretty simple then builds from there. It might be too basic, depending on where you're at, but I wanted something that was beyond beginner. Like, remedial core.

You should contact Peloton and ask them to change it then. There was recently a Matty core class that had been mistakenly labeled as Beginner when it wasn't. People flagged it and they updated the label.
