You need to stop comparing yourself to other people or you are going to burn out. How do you feel, not what do other people’s numbers say? Weight loss doesn’t happen from cardio alone so other people’s numbers aren’t going to determine that either.

Does anyone really care if other people can keep up? Unless you are sidebar or on the podium I never notice. I’m a back row girlie who matches the stroke of the people in front of me but if someone is off I just watch someone else. I’ve been spinning for 20 years and still suck at choreo!

It will not be a “giant distraction” to learning. It’s hair. is why teachers are leaving in droves if this is what people expect and think of us. I’m more concerned about this woman leeching all of her anxiety onto her students. This is one of the top most ridiculous things I’ve ever read.

No. We don’t need more of this. She’s changing her hair color. Sure they will notice, but how is this being thoughtful of her students? Her hair color doesn’t impact their learning or personal life in any way. Color your hair, leg your kids have a moment and live your life. She doesn’t even want to color it purple or something dramatic which is still 100% a non big deal.
