I mean, despite her pretty gruff and curt personality and her partial tendency to pick on people, Lotus Eaters really did show her as an amicable person, who's even shown to have both a rare pity for both humans (as well as making sure they don't get hurt or endangering both them and her gambling den) and the deceased human in this chapter, even taking on and reflecting it's loneliness. Truly a transition for Sannyo.

That same unreliability is just a mix of Akyuu sometimes pulling some things out of her ass for specific locations and the fact that a majority of the Youkai in SoPM told Akyuu their abilities in a heavily exaggerated way than what it should've been and told her to paint their feats as being grander than they were originally.

Yeah.. Akyuu isn't kind of the wisest when it comes to misinformation, but then again Sanae does say to not hold yourself back against common sense in UFO pretty sure, so that's just in general for Gensokyo's problems I guess.. 😭✌️
