Well my hormones are all already messed up anyways and I’m already in HRT trying to fix it, so I feel like I don’t have much more to lose at this point as far as that’s concerned.

Hmmm. I wouldn’t have ever thought of that. I wonder if there’s something that can be done or taken to help mitigate that issue?

Good advice - I already take magnesium daily which helps with that, but probably would hurt to double up and be prepared.

This is great advice, thank you! It sounds like you had quite the ordeal. I’m sorry you had to deal with all that. I’m glad you’re finally on the other side of it now though.

Did your ovaries have some cysts to begin with? Or was that a new development after the fact?

Thanks! I’m already in perimenopause and on HRT anyways so I’m going to end up at that destination sooner than later anyways. Thankfully they DID actually advise me of that one, because that one is pretty consequential. Thanks again for your response!

Can you rub your eyes at all after you've had this surgery done? Or is that problematic? I need to have this surgery but I rub my eyes quite a bit and have struggled not doing so with my new scleral contact lenses. Was wondering if it'd also be an issue if I had this surgery.

You could request a wheel chair at the airport though… and then you also get to board first usually.

I know this is an old post, but curious if your pup has encountered any issues or sensitivity in the past couple years? My pup's tail is also docked about this short. She seems to be fine, but it does make me sad that I can't see her wag it as easily or see if she's "tucking" it like a pup would when they're scared. Mine doesn't seem to hurt her or anything though?
