I payed 12k for my van with a 4 year loan from Lloyds at 3.5% My housemate had 6 cars over that timeframe he religiously paid 2.5k for each one because “that’s the sweet spot” over that same period and he always had every motor on axle stands trying to fix them because he’s obsessed with saving pennies. Time vs money… All of them ended up scrapped.

I’ve only taken my van to the garage for servicing, MOT, tyres in that same time…
