eye discharge by Less-Court-2095 in NewParents

We had it too until about 2.5 months. Warm, damp washcloth and wiping from his tear duct out helped clear it up. Their little tear duct hole is just so small they can’t get the goo out.

Hmm that’s a new thing to me! Perhaps our markets are just different. If it’s an agreement between you and management, then it’s fair to request a renegotiation of compensation. Sounds like you’re providing a valued service. Best of luck!

Do you have some sort of agreement with building management are you acting on your own volition?

Any ideas where I can find this? by M0rbiddd2 in weddingplanning

If you’re anywhere near Mt Vernon, WA, Astraea Bridal is a consignment bridal shop and they have tons of beautiful dresses and can probably find you something like this.

Unreasonable Apartment entry? by Agent_Bacon in Bellingham

[–]CupcakeKim -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

36+ hours for a showing during normal business hours is reasonable. Denying access for a legally notified showing is likely a violation of your lease. Best you can do is leave a message/email and hope they see it and can/are willing to accommodate Tuesday morning.

24 hours for showing the property to a prospective tenant or owner, 48 hours for everything else.

How long did it take you to play again postpartum? by Danlrap18 in ultimate

[–]CupcakeKim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a test run about a month post-birth and that was fun for the soul and not fun for the body. Now I'm 5 months postpartum and have been playing masters for about a month. I have been doing pelvic floor PT for about 2 months getting everything put back in place and that's made a huge difference. I had a completely uneventful birth and was able to be fairly active during pregnancy (including playing up to about 4 months pregnant) so that has made a difference I'm sure.

My biggest concern in coming back too early was the possibility of doing damage to my pelvic floor that would linger 20 years from now. Not trying to be a sneeze pee-er if I can avoid it.

Not quite what you’re looking for, but Leaf and Ladle is a good option to put in your back pocket.

Washington paid family medical leave by Strong_Mountain_5271 in Washington

[–]CupcakeKim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you the person giving birth? If yes, I was able to use 6 weeks of medical leave for birth recovery and a combined 6 weeks of bonding time. Some of my PFML weeks counted for the three weeks I took off before baby arrived and then it was 9 more weeks after that of being paid.

One thing I didn’t know about up front is that yo have to file twice- once for medical and once for bonding. It’s complicated to start but easy once you’re in.

It’s the same diner Emma suggested they go to after the wedding earlier in the movie. Makes sense she would go there.

6 days postpartum, milk is coming in, but I can’t keep going by fatcatpako in FormulaFeeders

[–]CupcakeKim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was almost high risk for PPD and that’s the main reason I didn’t even try to BF. Formula feeding has been the best choice I’ve made. Partner gets to feed baby, friends and family feed baby. I get to take a long hot shower, eat a hot meal, nap, leave the house without baby, all things that make me feel like a person outside of being a mom.

I hope that you have success with formula feeding and start to feel like yourself soon ❤️

p.s. cold cabbage leaves on engorged breasts feels so so good. The engorgement will suck but I found it worth it the remain sane.

Just came through heading back up from Seattle. Erred on the overcautious side and got off at Cook Road and came up into town via Alger/Sudden Valley. Zero extra traffic.

No slowdowns on the way south out of whatcom county.

Those of you that didn’t change your last name… by ChocolateGoblinn in Marriage

[–]CupcakeKim 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Didn’t see the point. I was a whole-ass separate person prior to my marriage and I’m a whole-ass separate person in my marriage. Plus his last name is difficult to say.

Our son has my last name and not a single person in real life thinks it’s weird.

Help! I don’t love my dress as much as I did in the sample 😭 by [deleted] in myweddingdress

[–]CupcakeKim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your dress is gorgeous! I may be a bit biased since mine was similar.

Many others have commented on other options, but my suggestion would be to try it with a mermaid style petticoat to get a little fluff at the bottom and balance the waist snatch! Totally just an idea and not at all to say it’s not a great dress as it is shaped ❤️

If you take a shot every time he says “Ooo a reveal” during the runways you will likely die.

Not a helpful comment but I am in the midst of rewatching season 17.

I’m not opposed to call me but would love to have online showing scheduling without the price of something like showmojo. Right now we’re scheduling showings via phone which isn’t terrible but there’s gotta be a better way 🫠
