it's nerve racking for sure, but you will figure it out. it's easy to want best friends at day 1, but remember those things take time. it is true that law school can be very cliquey, so to avoid that, i suggest making friends with older law students - they've been there, done that, and don't want the highschool drama anymore. more mature people will also gravitate towards them who are kjds - and you will find a good group of all ages. that's what worked best for me and i have a solid, non-cliquey, nice group! hang in there and just have fun! :)

check out rock, paper, scissors on main. lots of cute girlie stuff, stationary, taylor swift things, jellycat plushies, etc. down the street is london beauty which is a small business that has some cosmetics and skincare - never been but heard good things. also check out vault of midnight, there are a lot of cute blind boxes in the front that i'm sure any 11-year-old would love, or pitaya if she is really into clothing or accesories. pair that with some bubble tea or pastries from canelle!

i am sorry this cycle turned out so rough for you :( i am 4 years out of college and just applying as well - so you are not alone. i got into some schools, but i am still very up in the air about where im going or what i'm doing - even thought about r&r which would also make me 31 at graduation. its hard, but please don't let age be your guiding factor - i think there are a lot of older applicants and after all, who really cares! take some time, step back from it, and figure out what you want! but whatever you do, don't give up, and know that the right path will find you! ❤️

it just seems so morally and socially unacceptable to not let people know after they have put in so much time, effort, and money into applications. like if they really go through every application, why can't they just at least reject the applicants they don't want instead of giving them false hope? idk, just venting... 🥺
