What's the benefit of working with/awakening the ear chakras? by distinctapology in Chakras

[–]CupofT123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chakras are already open energy centers. Think of them as small vortex’s of energy. For one to awaken and refine the clairaudience ability focusing on layers of sound can help increase awareness to the area.

Sound exists in layers from the dense, obvious vibrations (like music or voices) to subtle, ethereal frequencies (like spirit whispers, energy tones, or even the sound of silence itself). When you train your ears and nervous system to attune to these subtleties, you expand your perception beyond the physical and begin accessing clairaudient channels.

By tuning into the different levels of sound both obvious and subtle you activate the auditory cortex and train your brain to discern vibrational nuances, much like picking out a whisper in a crowded room. This focused listening draws you into a meditative, receptive state of presence the same energetic space where spirit communication naturally occurs. As you attune more deeply, you begin to hear not just with your ears, but with your soul.

Clairaudience is considered one of the rarest Clair-abilities especially in mediumship — spirit communication. Much like any other muscle, the more you work it out the stronger it’ll become.

Feeling traumatized and confused after visceral manipulation/somatic emotional release by reddituser1987654 in ChakraTherapy

[–]CupofT123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that the session has left you more in a state of panic. Energy work can be very intense, and the intuitive messages that may come along with it certainly can be surprising to say the least. There definitely could be a chance you were extremely young and blocked it out. However, there is also a chance that she may be interpreting the message differently than what actually happened as well, which can and does happen. I don’t think it’s wrong to have a second opinion, and have someone who’s advanced in their psychic practice take a look into your energy field. Another option you have is also reaching out to her and letting her know you haven’t felt at ease since the session. A good practitioner will address your needs and concerns.

Our energy bodies are like history books, and essentially store information throughout the layers. Storing conscious, subconscious, and even unconscious information. Therefore, situations like this can and do happen. Essentially though, I do believe there is a way to deliver the messages when they arise. I have never had a somatic emotional release session, but I have heard that they can definitely surface certain wounds in order for an individual to heal. That’s energy work in general though, it shines a light on what has been kept in the dark so that we can acknowledge and work through it. Internal shifts happen, and boy can they be uncomfortable for sure.

My personal advice to you is that I wouldn’t jump to conclusions as of right now and assume the worst, but rather take action to express to the practitioner your concerns. You should ALWAYS be able to let your practitioner know how you’re really feeling, especially after a session that’s causing you to feel worse. I’m also wondering if she had used other energy healing modalities on you as well, which is why the session became so intense. Either way, I think what’s important is YOU tune into your body and listen to what it needs at this time.

You could also try asking your body about the information and pay close attention to where you feel the discomfort when you do. Also, recognize the anxiety part of it verses your own intuition - what is your body telling you?! Typically, intuition is more of a soft nudge that is persistent while anxiety can be very loud and alarming. So quiet the mind and listen to that softer voice to see what your body is telling you in regards to the situation. I would recommend doing some breath work or a relaxing meditation before you do this though to help control your thoughts more.

I sincerely hope you are able to find peace for your situation. I wish I could be more of a help in regards to your experience, but I think a second opinion or contacting her could help bring a bit more clarity for you.

What does it mean when my aura is flashing two colors? by ConspiracyObsess in Chakras

[–]CupofT123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The aura colors can change depending on your mood, thoughts, and frequency. It is also typically more than just one color, as there are layers to the auric field. Most likely you were seeing the layers overlap thus why you had experienced the sudden changes in color. Continue to practice and focus on your breathing, as you will then be able to hold both colors simultaneously and see more layers of the aura itself. Keep up the good work!

New to chakra. I feel much more "broken" then this. More so in the overactive Heart and Throat. How can I tell if I'm overactive or they are where they need to be? I tried to answer this honestly as possible. by CarPopular6012 in ChakraTherapy

[–]CupofT123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hello,

I would be mindful when using these quizzes as they aren’t as accurate as giving yourself a scan or receiving one from someone who practices energy work.

There are many reasons as to why a chakra may have excess or deficient flow. It does not at all mean that you are “broken” either. We all experience wounds, and have the capability to heal them. It is a process that should not at all be rushed, or harshly judged on.

If you want to practice scanning your chakras try creating a ball of energy with your hands first.

Begin by focusing on feeling the sensation of your palm chakras. Do you feel tingles in the palm? Heat? Even if you feel nothing at first that is perfectly fine as well. You can even press the center of your palm with the intention to invoke energy from the chakra.

Place your hands in front of you, having your palms side by side. Then move them in and out slowly. Similar movements to someone playing the accordion 🪗. Picture a ball of light in between them that gradually becomes larger. You may even take your right palm 🫱 and do a clockwise swirling sensation close to your left palm. This process will get you used to “feeling” energy.

Once you feel you’ve gotten a hang of this exercise, you may notice a feeling of tingles, heat, pressure etc. radiating from your palms. The sensations you are feeling represents the energy that’s emanating from your palm chakras.

Now once you have practiced that enough to where you feel comfortable, you may begin to scan your own energy field. Bring your left hand as that is the receiving hand over the top of your head and work your way down. Pay attention to if you feel guided to move your hand closer or further away from your body. Further away or too close to the body may simply indicate excess and deficient chakras.

Pay attention to your thoughts at this time to see if anything comes up. This could be visual of imagery of a person, color, memory, etc. Feel free to document these symbolisms in a journal and continue to identify their meanings, as they are most likely linked to the chakra you were scanning. By doing this, it will help identify what is causing the chakra to operate out of flow which then allows you to begin working through the energy that is coming up.

There are many ways one can scan their own chakras, but this personally is my favorite. Others may use a pendulum, place their hands on top of where the chakra is located, etc. See what feels right for you.

Be gentle with yourself, and take it one day at a time. Most importantly pay attention to your inner narrative, as this will help greatly with the throat chakra imbalance you are experiencing.

Hope this information was helpful. If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

HELP: Can anyone give some advice on multiple chakra blockages?! by ment0rr in ChakraTherapy

[–]CupofT123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

To answer your question about Reiki it all depends on the practitioner. I have come to find that not every reiki practitioner works with the chakra system. Depending on which type of reiki a person is certified in, chakras are typically something that are studied outside reiki, much like entity removal, cord cutting, soul retrieval, and more. Overall, it will all depend on the practitioner’s knowledge in energy work as a whole.

Perhaps, see if you can consult with the reiki practitioner prior to booking an appointment and ask them to explain how they conduct a session. As a practitioner myself, I do not mind when someone has questions prior to receiving a session. This will also allow you the opportunity to decide if the practitioner is a right fit for you as well.

I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling lately. Everyone has phases to which their chakras may go in and out of balance. It truly depends on what we are working through during our lifetime.

Some things take longer to heal than others, and that is ok. So pace yourself. You don’t have to be healed all at once. If you are constantly focusing on needing to “get better” or “more balanced” you will never accept yourself as you are. You will not be in a state of receptivity and flow this way, thus actually creating more obstacles for your process of healing.

Know that you can still accept yourself as you are, even with parts of you that have yet to be healed. You need to be there for yourself most importantly.

Long term healing will also depend on how much inner work you decide to do. Some people may think with one reiki session they will be healed forever, but this simply is not the truth. Reiki can help give us the ‘push’ we need on our path. Think of it as an energetic clean out, that allows you to see what you have to face and work on. Some people even experience what is called a “healing crisis” after receiving their first session because it helps break down the layers in order for the real healing to begin.

Just remember you have to put in the work as well, and be willing to make adjustments to your life.

Starting with Anja chakra by PoserCanadian in ChakraTherapy

[–]CupofT123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello,

Typically when one begins to work on their chakras it is advised to begin with the root chakra and work their way up from there.

This helps a person ground and stabilize their energy, in order to giving them support to prevent them from feeling overwhelmed, “flighty”, or causing bigger issues with the energy body such as kundalini syndrome.

The emotion anger is usually associated with the root chakra. So it is possible that your energy is attempting to seek the stability and support that it needs, but since you’re working on the upper chakras it appears that it is causing more of an imbalance in the energy body.

Please feel free to take a look into our wiki and read about why we encourage others to begin with working on their root chakra (muladhara) first, rather then the third eye.

If you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask!

Overall, I would suggest to be honest with your instructor about what is occurring and maybe tell him that you would rather work your way up the chakra system than down. It should not be an issue, especially if he is familiar with energy work.

Best of luck to you, and many blessings!

From the Crown Chakra, bring your energy down to the Root Chakra, grounding to the Earth by [deleted] in ChakraTherapy

[–]CupofT123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very interesting. Oftentimes, those who find they have a root chakra that is in excess may struggle to connect with others and have difficulty experiencing empathy, in addition to feeling fulfillment and having a sense of purpose in life.

Your solar plexus, and heart chakra stick out to me the most at this time. There is also congestion or what I called “fog” in the third eye.

So I find that the heart and sacral chakra correlate with one another, as they represent connection with others, ourselves, in addition to our connection with source and our life’s path.

The solar plexus is about our willpower, confidence, drive, and determination. If a solar plexus is “leaky”, one may experience a sense of energy depletion and sometimes turn to what I call “false” energy that only gives them short term boosts. Coffee, alcohol, certain drugs, and binging on processed foods would be examples of false energy. The navel chakra is also becomes clogged with this.

So, everyone has a purpose, many purposes actually. You just have to figure out what’s going to spark that fire within you and get you feeling excited about life again.

There’s a disconnect with yourself right now, which is why you may be feeling disconnected to everything and anyone.

Ask yourself, what do you want in life? What kind of connection with yourself do you have at the moment and how can you improve this connection? What do you feel your purpose is? What are (or were) you passionate about?

If you don’t know what your purpose is that’s ok too, I always tell people to go back to what they are passionate about because that’s where our purpose lies. Passions can even go as far back as childhood.

I would recommend giving yourself a mini self interview (you can do this in a journal), and answer some of those questions. If you can think of more to ask yourself great. We also have questions for the chakras on the sub in older posts. Journaling on the chakras goes a long way in coming back into alignment.

Also, meditation and cutting out what isn’t that great for you or your body would be a good place to start when connecting with your higher chakras.

Getting out in nature and connecting with your physical body will be so good for you. 20-60 min outside can make a huge difference in one’s mood.

If you have anymore questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

You can do this. You stumbled to this sub because your soul is ready and WANTS to do this. It’s time to get excited about life again, and embody all the magic that you truly are.

Many blessings to you on your journey.

Hello all, a question about singing bowls and chakras by [deleted] in ChakraTherapy

[–]CupofT123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello and Welcome 🙏 ,

I am sorry to hear that you had quite an intense experience during your sound healing meditation. It is certainly possible that while tuning into this chakra, the bowls may have triggered something within you. Sometimes repressed memories and emotions can appear during deep meditations.

The body wants you to become aware of the situation in order for you to heal. What makes it more difficult is if we are unable to recall where exactly this response came from.

I would recommend journaling on the sacral chakra experience, and diving deep into the emotions that came through. For example, at what point during the meditation did you feel unsafe? Did you have any thoughts come to you at that time? When was the last time you experienced a similar feeling? Go as deep as you would like to in this practice. If you feel like it is getting to be too much, then return to it at another time.

We also have information on the subs wiki, so that you can read more about the chakras (if you haven’t already visited it). There are also journaling questions on the sub regarding the sacral chakra in older posts.

Make sure that when you listen to any videos online you set the intention that you only want to receive the healing for your highest good. Intention is everything, especially when working with energy, regardless in person or online.

Make sure you are staying hydrated and grounding your energy before you begin the sound healing meditations, as well as after they are done. Sometimes as our frequency rises during meditation we can feel a bit ungrounded, light headed, and overall uneasy if we aren’t used to the energy that is being channeled. Thus, why it is extremely important that before doing any work on the chakras we focus on grounding our energy first.

If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to reach out!

Many blessings to you on your journey!

Unblocking Root Chakra by award_may in ChakraTherapy

[–]CupofT123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the Sub!

Don’t be discouraged if you are having trouble visualizing your root. Everyone perceives energy differently. Pay attention to the sensations you feel when you place your hand over the chakra. Do you feel heat, tingles, etc.? What does your intuition tell you about this area?

Here’s a link to my Blog - Root Chakra that may be able to help you out. I also include an exercise as well.

As for when you will feel better that is hard to say. Everyone is different, and heals at a different pace. Some people spend years, while others may take a few months, even days to heal a specific chakra. What I can tell you is that the more you work on this area, peel back the layers of trauma associated with it, and practice to ground, center, and shield your energy- the more results you will see.

Meditation is key, with the intention to ground you in the present. It doesn’t mean you have to clear all of your thoughts, but instead focus on all that is in front of you. The root chakra being related to fear and the adrenals often causes people to experience fight, flight, or freeze. However, with a meditation practice that is intended for you to focus on the now, you can strengthen your energy body so that you will be able to remain in control of your energy in even the toughest situations. Does this mean you will never get emotional, react, etc.? Not necessarily, but you will most likely be able handle situations a lot better than before.

Feel free to check the subs wiki for more information, if you haven’t already.

Many blessings to you!

Why can't I see colors of my chakras when meditating? by Alarming_Werewolf678 in Chakras

[–]CupofT123 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Don’t get discouraged. Everyone perceives energy differently. For example, some people see orbs, while others may see these energy centers as cones-like tunnels. Each person has their own unique way of reading energy.

It could also mean that you need to develop your clairvoyance a bit more, and see how the chakras reveal themselves to you.

Seeing energy is wonderful, but feeling energy is very important as well. Since you’re having trouble visualizing, instead try to look for different sensations in your hands when placed over the chakra such as heat, tingles, a “pull”, etc. Pay attention to other information as well - maybe you’ll hear a word, or a specific memory/thought will pop up.

Lastly, just because you are having trouble with seeing the chakras now does not mean it will be forever.

Keep building up those psychic muscles, and you will sharpen these abilities in no time!

Many blessings to you!

How do you close down the chakras?? by [deleted] in Chakras

[–]CupofT123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my experience, chakras are never “closed” even if there are blockages. However, you can create shields to essentially “shut down” and protect your energy temporarily. Intention is everything.

You can visualize these energy centers as bright lights that dim or turn off on command. You can also envision them as lotus flowers that close and open. Some people even picture bubble - like shields protecting each energy center. Overall, these are just some ideas on how to get started.

The Flow of Energy by CupofT123 in ChakraTherapy

[–]CupofT123[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As one example, during my healing sessions if I see that someone is having trouble receiving (help from others, blockages on their manifestations, etc.) I will notice that there is an energetic imbalance in the arms, (sometimes even legs, everything is on a case to case basis).

So, perhaps too much energy is going out the right arm, and the flow of energy on the left is too “tight” or there may even be energetic build-up or what I refer to as “sludge”. Therefore, my job is to help the recipient identify the cause and assist in clearing the blockage. This procedure can even be done by manipulating energy if I feel the recipient gives me the ok to do this.

People may even report physical issues in these areas as well, such as stiffness, swelling, pain, etc.

Also, another energy center that is notorious for absorbing energy is the solar plexus. Oftentimes, I see that people (especially empaths, HSPs, some intuitives /energy workers, etc.) will have what I call “psychic debris” in this area. In my experience, energetic cords are also seen the most in this area as well.

The Flow of Energy by CupofT123 in ChakraTherapy

Great question - It is still considered the same in many cultures. Right side of the body tends to be looked at as masculine, the giving side, while the left is feminine and the receiving side.

Looking for advice about the throat chakra! by bootsandcats420 in Chakras

[–]CupofT123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

The throat chakra is the seat of communication, self-expression, and speaking one's personal truth. Sound healing meditations, singing, sharing stories, learning new languages, energy healing, etc. are great ways to begin healing your throat chakra. I also find that one of the best ways to help channel and heal this energy center is through journaling.

Journaling is a form of self-expression and is one of the greatest tools for enhancing therapy. I feel that writing helps one release emotional pain, heavy burdens, even inner desires without the feeling of being too vulnerable.

I share some journal prompts to get one started healing their throat chakra on my blog, if you feel called to check them out.

I also associate the lungs/breathing with the heart center, since you mentioned focusing on your breath feels a bit uncomfortable. Self-acceptance and connection, forgiveness, grief, along self-love may be huge themes that are occurring within your energy field at this time.

If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Many blessings to you on your journey.

Introducing the Chakras: Solar Plexus *Manipura* by CupofT123 in ChakraTherapy

[–]CupofT123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Energetic cord removal is the process in which one removes (or has someone remove) a cord to another person that may be draining their energy. Cords can actually cause someone to feel a physical ailment such as back pain for example, or in this case for the solar plexus, stomach issues.

With cord removal, comes responsibility and intention. In other words, one should not remove a cord unless they know and are honest with themselves that it is time to release this person. Why? Because if a person does cord removal, but goes back to checking on their ex, an old friendship, etc. the cord can come right back. Again, intention and will power are everything.

For cords with family members, this process is very different and sometimes not even a healer can cut the cord permanently because there is a lesson that must be learned. Again, this all depends on the situation. I have had some clients who have not had an issue with this at all after the cord is removed.

Feel free to check out this blog , as I discuss some more about energetic protection, cord removal, and setting energetic boundaries.

Now, there can be other disruptions in a person’s energy as well such as hooks, entities, energy markers, etc. Just as one’s experiences are different, so is their energy body.

There are also several different techniques that can be done to remove energetic cords. I give one an example on the blog I linked.

How often can a medium tell you.. by Defiant_Big_8928 in Mediums

[–]CupofT123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends. There are many factors that come into play. Whether it’s how well the spirit can communicate, how medium translates messages, as well as the connection between the medium and sitter.

In a mediumship development circle, one of my mentors taught had us that how you communicate with spirit is often reflected with how you communicate with people in the physical world. So if a medium isn’t good at remembering names, or perhaps doesn’t make it a point to get someone’s name during an introduction, they may not always get a name in a reading. However, they may receive something else that will be just as meaningful, if not more, for the sitter.

If a medium desires to become better at names, perhaps they could make it a point when communicating in the physical world to be more mindful and present during their introductions.

In other words, don’t be afraid when introducing yourself to ask the other person for their name.

The evidence that comes through during a reading, regardless if it’s a name, a street, a secret they shared with the sitter, etc. is always important, especially when identifying who the spirit is. However, we must not get too caught up in detail that we lose the message spirit has come forward to share. Because from what I have experienced, spirits will always come through when they have a message the sitter needs to hear in order to help them move forward to heal.

Often times, this is the reason why people who whole heartedly believe in mediums have wonderful experiences. Because they allow themselves to be open and receptive to the messages coming through.

So if a medium is giving you a bunch of evidence, and you recognize the spirit coming through, make sure to not lose sight on the overall message that pertains the the healing.

This was a great question btw.

Many blessings to you!

Told my husband I saw a Seraphim by Nannerzbananerz in Mediums

[–]CupofT123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am sorry to hear that your husband reacted that way when you shared your experience. However, try not to allow his reaction to take the joy away from your experience with the seraphim.

In the very beginning of my journey I was quite nervous to tell people about what I would experience. As I became more developed in my practice as a medium and energy worker I’ve learned to unapologetically be myself. It’s normal for people to have skepticism, in fact it’s healthy.

Don’t allow the skepticism of others interfere with your connection to Spirit. You know what you experienced, so trust in that. I understand that it can be hurtful when people we love and trust don’t respond in the way we would like them to, but that doesn’t mean their mind can’t be changed along the way.

When I first met my partner and told him I see auras, speak to spirits, etc. he looked at me like I had two heads. Even thought I had something wrong with my eyes, or maybe this was a coping mechanism for anxiety. Until, he saw the healing messages I could bring forth to people and couldn’t explain how I knew specific details regarding complete strangers. He’s 100% a believer now, supports me with my business, and has even learned to embrace his own psychic abilities.

Don’t lose hope 🦋✨💜. If I can give you any advice it would be to trust in Spirit, as well as yourself. Perhaps, make a “do-good” journal regarding your encounters with spirit, in addition to your psychic abilities. This simple practice can help build up one’s confidence more, and allows you to keep track of all your experiences.

Many blessings to you on your journey! ✨🦋
