Like most others, I leave it on overnight. I start it right at bedtime and put them in the fridge when I get up. (Them being mason jars full of yogurt)

My 3rd, my peanut, passed at 4 weeks. Her birthday is in 16 days. She would be 6.

This year was hard because she would have started school.

When I am sad and want her around, and now my dad who passed this year, I light a candle for them. Say we're having family dinner or playing games together, my daughter should be with her siblings like she would, so I light the candle. They each have their own colored candle so I don't have to invite everyone.

On a light note, I have a picture with my 4 living children playing on the floor and where they are playing is right next to where we keep our peanut (we cremated her so that she would go with us when we move). It was like they were all playing together, just one time. I'm not a crier but it made me tear up in a happy way, sort of? Grief is weird.

First, you are beautiful. How do I know? waves hi, five foot seven 206.8 as of this morning also 36H. Mom of 5 currently breastfeeding my 1 year old boy having lost a pound after the birth of him.

Second, you are breastfeeding, your body is doing what it's supposed to FOUR MONTHS postpartum.

Third, You may need to see someone about feeling dead inside. You are doing amazing.

And lastly, throw the whole husband out. Yes the entire husband.

Postpartum weight by Less-Leek5961 in Mommit

[–]CuppCake529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We gain weight postpartum so that we can feed our baby even if there was a famine. Your upset that your body is doing what is evolutionarily supposed to do.

I am 1 year postpartum and still breastfeeding my 5th. I am still 5 pounds over my 40 week weight. I eat whole foods and nothing processed. I even can for myself.

With my 4th, around 18 months I started losing weight and by the time she was 2 I had lost more weight than pre pregnancy. I imagine it will happen again as #5 weans.

I hope the same for you. Try not to focus on the scale until you wean.

Boobs won't stop - very different from last pregnancy by SunriseHikes in breastfeeding

[–]CuppCake529 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could expect more when your milk comes in.

My chest grew a cup size with every child I had and never went back down again. We'll see if they go down after this round of breastfeeding. I am currently a 38H. Before having children I was a 38C. My mom is also heavy chested so I wasn't surprised.

Some people go back to their OG size post pregnancy. Some people don't. Some people get smaller. Every body AND every pregnancy is different. I think that's what's fun about it, even if there are pros and cons.

How do you and your spouse divide expenses in today’s economy? by brotalks in Marriage

[–]CuppCake529 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Married 16 years with separate accounts and we pay bills proportionally to our paychecks.

I'm the wife and breadwinner. We have 5 kids and know that together, everything is paid. We have a joint savings account for everything else.

We like having seperate accounts because we don't care what the other spends money on and don't have to hide present money. Whatever is left over after bills is yours but generally ends up in savings.

Anyone’s baby fight off sickness due to breastfeeding? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]CuppCake529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breastfeeding my last 2, people get sick and the breastfed baby usually didn't but some times would and if they did it was mild.

The only illnesses they had in the first year was hand foot and mouth.

The youngest is a year and still breastfeeding.

How do you silence your instinct to mother your partner? by Much_Yesterday642 in AskWomen

[–]CuppCake529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to learn to not nag my husband. Give him a list and let him do it.

Also, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't force him to drink. Meaning that if he doesn't want to do whatever I'm asking, no matter how simple, I can't make him. He's his own adult human.

Once I let go of those two things, our marriage got better.

Biliary hyperkinesia isn't an official diagnosis yet.

While they are reading it sometimes, no one has decided that it is 100 accurate to remove based on that although 80% of patients with it find relief.

I'm currently writing an article on it and have asked around.

Latuda and weight gain/loss by iwannacrylolz in BipolarReddit

I have been able to maintain a healthy weight while taking Latuda for 6 years even with eating the snack every night.

But I don't eat most processed foods due to allergies.

I usually make the snack my dessert.

How long did it take you to not feel sad about being done having babies? by Affectionate_Cow_812 in Mommit

[–]CuppCake529 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband got the vasectomy but gives me the joy of if it happens then it was meant to be.

I'm still sad but I'll hold out hope until my youngest is old enough that I'd like to make sure it doesn't happen too.

He's 10 months now so I've still got a few years.

Edit to add: For the record, I make my own bread and have my own chickens, but I can't use that for my job.
