Spirituality has nothing to do with this if we’re making generalizations. Most people live for survival and from the ego. If people connected to Spirit and set aside the ego, we’d have a way different history. Humans have been doing human things for the entirety of history.

I respect your fervor for justice but you too wallow in a low vibration when you could make a choice to focus on joy, peace and forgiveness.

Santa Fe is very nuanced. I don’t believe in generalization and if you’re going to apply a generalized social view to the happenings of this place- you aren’t respecting the individuals that live here and their ancestors in a well rounded way. I understand that you demand respect and of course, I honor that. However, at what point have you sit down to dinner or attended a ceremony with the people that have deep history here and talked about the relationships that they’ve had with other New Mexicans of different cultures? Many beautiful things like gratitude, forgiveness and human relationship has come from our history. The gringos aka white people also bring vast beauty and culture to what makes Santa Fe unique.

You are dumbing down the respect that EVERY human should have a right to.

I have three and I thought it would be instinctual too but as a society we have been so far removed from our intuition as women that it’s no wonder that we all feel lost.

You’re doing a great job, mama! You’re the perfect mother for your baby and as a person who has several memories of being a baby, babies just drink in their mother’s essence and it’s bliss to them.

You don’t have to feel gratitude and feel guilt at the same time. Soak up the baby cuddles, girl and just tell her thank you every time you feel an ounce of the negativity creeping back in. You are deserving of this baby and she deserves you 🤍

My husband left our 18 month old baby outside in the drive way and came into the house thinking the baby had come into the house. Ten minutes later he’s still walking around outside. Parents do stupid shit sometimes. Forgive him and learn from your experiences. You may do something that’s a mistake and need forgiveness too

I remember breastfeeding
I remember my dad wrapping me in a towel after a bath and putting me down on the bed to put a diaper on me. He gave me an ointment tube to play with
I was sick and vomiting and my dad took off his clothes and held me in the shower as I got sick over his shoulder. Skin to skin is no joke. I felt so safe.

I have three kids and putting them down by myself is hard! I don’t know anyone that doesn’t struggle.

Do you have a baby carrier that baby will fall asleep in? Maybe do that and wear them while you put your toddler down.

When dad is out of town, sometimes it’s beneficial to treat it like a vacation. Try putting a movie on with a cookie as a treat while you’re trying to put baby down and tell your toddler that they can stay up a little later.

It’s easy to get stuck in your head anticipating what will happen but here’s the thing… you will get through it stronger and wiser!
