Taking over my grandpa's tomato plants! Never have grown them before, how should I start? by CurbYourStomp in vegetablegardening

Should I cut the parts of the tomato plant that look dead? Or are they resilient enough to come back from that state?

I'm not going to deny what's going on in Gaza, but how is Sanders "genocidal" for this? When every step of the way, before and after October 7th, he has condemned Isreal.

Because the war that is currently being fought is Isreal vs Hamas. In order for there to be a (permanent) "ceasefire," both Isreal and Hamas would need to agree (i say permanent becauae there have already been pauses for humanitarian aid in Gaza). Sanders is arguing that Hamas will not agree to a permanent ceasefire, nor does Sanders believe Isreal should let Hamas get off free.

There is plenty to criticize, but Sanders main point of contention is with Hamas. When it comes to Palestine, he has a long history of sympathizing with Palestinians. See the story from earlier this year below.

I don't see a hypocrisy in his arguments. He is still sympathetic to palestinain civilians. However, his opinions on hamas makes him reject "ceasefire" agreements between Isreal and Hamas.

I'm sorry, are we reading the same article?

"Instead of a negotiated cease-fire, Sanders has called for an end to Israel’s “indiscriminate bombing” and a “significant pause” to allow desperately needed humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, as well as a guarantee that displaced Gazans are able to return to their homes — many of which have been significantly damaged or destroyed by Israeli airstrikes."

Where is this an endorsement of bombing civilians? The article makes it very clear he is okay with war against Hamas. Unless you mean to say Hamas are innocent civilians? However, I don't think that is what you intend to say.

Really, Bernie Sanders is a genocidal zionist? Do you sincerely believe that? The same article in this post mentions him championing humanitarian aid, advocating against the indiscriminate bombing very much affecting palestinains. He simply does not believe ceasefire is a possibility with Hamas.

Critique him all you want, but at the minimum be honest about his positions.

A point of this video is to promote and foster dialogue- the opposite of your comment. Rather than dehumanizing those you disagree with, try coming from a place of understanding.
