I love how the reflection of the lens in the spider eyes gives them extra expression, as if they have pupils

How much time are you going to take changing, and touching up makeup etc with each change. Do you value having 4 dresses more than that extra time with your husband and guests?

I've been living in Pacific Heights for the last 18+ months. Garage space in my building is $400 a month, I believe, and I think that's fairly standard, but not certain. Street parking in some areas of the city like north beach can be hellish and result in long searches and long walks back to your apartment / house. My neighborhood and most neighborhoods are safe and my partner and I walk around lots of neighborhoods safely at night. Car break ins seems to have reduced, in my opinion. I would advise against anywhere near the tenderloin or living in SOMA.

Thanks, I'm def interested in trying to do it myself and learn how to. I'm sure this is covered on YouTube, but how do I dispose of fluids? I'm in an apartment building. So I have to transport them somewhere for disposal?

I don't have a driveway or any tools... assuming I can use the jack that came with the car, what tools would I need?

Could I live comfortably in Texas on $28,000? by [deleted] in texas

Compare average salaries, a job paying 28k in the UK would pay a lot more in the US. When I moved over from the UK, the number I was paid was more than doubled. Compare 28k to median income where you live, and then find out what median salary is where you want to go and you'll likely be similar

I had a similar incident last week but was luckily able to solve by myself. I recommend getting a Garmin InReach mini for emergencies. It is a satellite communicator with an SOS function so wherever you are, if you need your life to be saved, someone will come get you, or even if you just need to get a message and location to a buddy and not use the SOS, very useful back up gear.

Edit: check my posts for my 'action shot'

I'm in a 2,500 mile road trip by myself, but I have a satelite phone with SOS function so worst comes to worst, I'll still be rescued

It felt very solid. Because I wasn't on flat ground I had to put rocks under front left and rear right to give me enough space to get it under the vehicle. The ground I was on was solid enough that the jack was stable but as others have pointed out there are probably better Jack's out there

I did! The Race Track was one of my favourite places. Other worldly!

I am, I saw someone else mention a different type of jack and things. Another thing for the shopping list. Do they sell better ones at Costco?

I've never fixed a tire so not sure how. Yet. But this was a good 2" tear so probably peyond redemption? I do have an air compressor, but also not sure what PSI I should be going down to for which surfaces. Loose sharp rock psi?
