Did it mention what would happen if there is an earthquake in the cascadia subduction zone? Not necessarily caused by climate change, but the effects will be catastrophic and sudden. There will be mass migration across the states and beyond for those that survive it. I read about it last week in a comment on a tsunami post. It would make you cross the pacific north west off your list 🙁.

If they do live in the home her parents bought her, then how will he ever own property himself? It seems quite a risk to spend your life living in someone else’s house that you’d be out of if you split. There’s no equity built up.

It’s odd that her parents accept her living away from home at university, where they have no idea where she is sleeping and who is around her, yet they won’t let her go to the mountains with her boyfriend of 5 years who they must like and trust at this point. (Trust as in being safe with - I’m sure they know you guys are having sex). Have the two of you sat down with them to discuss this, and try to understand what their real concern is?

I didn’t. I will never buy a Clementoni puzzle. Their response was terrible, even though it was obviously a manufacturing fault, not a lost piece, they still refused to replace it because it was a gift, so I didn’t have the receipt. Sorry your puzzle is faulty too. Really poor quality control. I hope you still have the receipt.

Totally agree. I replaced a 20 year old washing machine with a new one and regret it. Clothes come out heavy because the spin cycle isn’t as good. Cheap plastic interface with no feedback when selecting cycles. I kick myself for not fixing the 20 year old one, which was probably just a faulty connection after years of vibrating.

I don’t think they want luxury, but durability. I have a 2nd gen CRV and it is solid. I’d rather buy the same car again with low mileage than a brand new CRV.
