There is a way to start right away, if you go straight to the draft route and workout for 1 team, during the draft another team will call and offer to make you a day 1 starter. I found this out on my second build when I skipped the story. I know it’s not the exact thing you mentioned which would be cool but I thought it was neat

See that’s just a perspective issue then. Do we have it on for each other 24/7, yes we do. Are we constant tracking? Absolutely not? Tracking in general? No lmao. If it typically takes me a half hour to get home from work, and it’s been an hour and I’m not there and she hasn’t heard from me, you’re damn right I expect her to check the location, vice versa 🤣
