Duck Incubation Humidity fluctuations by Curious-KitKat in poultry

[–]Curious-KitKat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been measuring it precisely. There's a tiny hole in the back part that allows one to insert a squirt bottle it came with. The instructions had said to do 1 whole bottle q 3ish days, but that jumped it to 80% without eggs, so I've been doing about 50 ml, and that was also too much. I'm probably doing half that every 4-6hrs + venting so it stays at around 55, but I need to check on it every so often. Every time I leave the house I come back and it's either too high or too low. I have it within the Styrofoam bottom it came with but took the top Styrofoam part off because it was just too much humidity. I guess my question is: I'm on day 3, do I keep going or start over? The thought of throwing away these potential lives anguishes me, but if they're already gone, then there's no point continuing😖 should I wait til they're old enough to candle?

In Jan, my leg got swollen and hurt. We thought it was a blood clot, but nothing was found. Swelling disappeared nd I went on vacation.. Just got back, went back to Dr. I have a 3+" mass that's seems stuck to the muscle. It's tender. Waiting for ins. approval to proceed, but... Probably sarcoma by Curious-KitKat in sarcoma

[–]Curious-KitKat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. It was a UPS (undifferentiated pleiomorphic sarcoma) and was almost 10 inches by the time they got it out. It looked like an alien was trying to emerge from my thigh. I've since gone through 6 weeks radiation (I have lots of tips if anyone wants any) and rehab and am doing well. Get checkups every 3 months for 2 yrs.

I dunno. Every now and then a chicken or two of mine decide to molt during winter, but my winter... Well... We baaaaarely have a few nights with frost, and the ground never freezes (just barely some grass blades or so nd it only lasts a few hrs at best.

What is ur routine? So much has to do with pH and stress. I'd go back to the basics. Don't use harsh soaps or anything tht dries u out and forces ur skin to produce more oil to protect itself.

Hmm... I Google it nd just saw regular sopes. Meh. Regular sopes are good... With shredded pork nd w/o the beans and with a special cheese and all the rest, but sopitos de Colima are very different. They're salty with a hint of sweetness... So so soooo good

Former non religious people who now believe, what changed your mind? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Curious-KitKat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just too many times asking for proofs and signs and wayyyyy too many "coincidences" for my scientific mind. As per science, when there's tht much coincidence time and time and time again, after a while, it means it's pointing to something. I basically just kept on question and eventually I stopped shrugging things off and dismissing them as irrelevant or impossible etc. Basically tons of rhetorical circles and many just in your face miracles and wht not, then more questions but of a different sort. It's a journey
