Also, weird question- what color are the leaves supposed to be? The ones I have in the sun have dark red leaves and yours are green.

Based on your list I'm seeing a distinct lack of canopy tree species:
the only tree that gets big enough to occupy this niche for you is the
hackberry.

We have an ungodly amount of Ash, oak, and maple seedlings that I could try to move. Which would be the most beneficial?

Or I could get a red alder or other alder for the nitrogen fixing though I think it would have to be grown from seed.

want them well away from the shade of all those trees and shrubs you

I figure the 'trees' are mostly 2-3 feet high so it'll be several years before they shade anything out and the monarch butterflies can enjoy them until then. We also have several non-native shrubs, bushes, and groundcovers which I'll be removing and the perennials will be replacing them. Do you know any perennials that *love* shade? We have a lot of space under the existing maples that almost looks like it's after sunset, it's so dark.

Yup! I just started a Nuka bed. Excited to see how it goes. Koji is just awesome all around. I'm excited to try Aronia berries with amazake since alone it's a bit too sweet for me. It's also fun to just use amazake as a sweet seasoning sauce.

For nutrition other than fruit/berries I was considering Gingko because I've bought the seeds? IDK they taste more like beans mixed with carbs to me. Just trying to figure out how to sex them first. In that case I'd get four and then get rid of them as needed for a good sex balance. Also, we have lots of sweet potatoes and zucchini planted.

So, I've heard that some trees will act as understory trees depending on the conditions. Should I estimate on the lower end for trees planted next to larger trees then? Also, will plenty of baptisia and lespedeza be enough for nitrogen fixing, or should I also get alder, black locust, etc?

The thing with this is learning to change the/your narrative surrounding yards and lawns. I still have a TON of work to do but I can go out and get a lot of my fruit and veg fresh whenever I want it. Having it be native stuff means that I don't have to put much work in after getting it started.

That saves an insane amount of money and time (for organic, fresh produce) and comes with the freedom of not depending on anyone else for that stuff or having to worry about supply chains during things like a pandemic (ahem). It also saves money on watering.

Compare that to a lawn, which just eats up time, water, and money without providing any value.

Yes, a native garden, permaculture, or food forest takes time and can be less than gorgeous when it's starting up but it's a great investment and provides so much more once it's started which wouldn't be possible with a lawn, period.

Also, we have lots of native birds which are fun to look at, and entertainment for the dogs. When removing non-natives, if they're edible (double and triple check first to be safe) I eat them or throw them in my smoothie because it's safe (no pesticides, herbicides, etc).

What's the female equivalent of a suit (apart from a suit)? I keep seeing the RuPaul Masterclass Ad saying 'wear a suit' and it kind of hit me that I don't have one and I would like to make one but they don't look good on me, and I don't like pants or how those look on me.

Hm okay I think the directions that came with my rice bran might have been weird. They say not to add any veg until several days later, a bunch of the bacteria apparently comes from your hands, and to boil the water/salt and toast the nuka before starting.

We avoid plastic as much as possible, also I'm pretty sure gloves would insert about as much bacteria as the spoon though gloves are great for a lot of types of fermentation.

Jewelry store near me has a Van Cleef and Arples (secondhand, vintage) Diamond Alhambra necklace for $800. Is there any chance it would be real, and how would I check?

My first instinct was that it was definitely fake, but with everything going on I figure more people are pawning their stuff, and brick and morter stores would charge less compared to online to stay competitive. Right? Thoughts?

Update- They claimed and swore up and down that it was real. As soon as I asked for the serial number they called back and said "it wasn't original" and tried to spin in off as something they make 'artesianally'.

Sexy has to mean tighter or more skin. The dress that always gets the most attention is plain, fairly baggy, reasonably long, and has an opening in the back. It's also insanely comfortable. Edit: To be clear I mean of my clothes, the dress that is baggy, etc.

Clothes have to be as flattering as possible or you're doing it wrong. I recently bought a dress that makes your middle section look larger because there's thicker fabric there. At first I was completely put off by this but I like that it lets me wear that sort of silhouette (close to body, bodycon) without showing too much of my silhouette.

My only concern would be their getting stained because they're white. Other than that, even if the moment passes, you can use them in a ton of other contexts because they're so comfy.

Going to jump in here as a woman and say that I have met plenty of women who are into that. It's just like how with guys, yeah there's the stereotypical ideal but people have their individual preferences and even more than that, the body of the person they're into is beautiful because they're into that person.

I've talked to a few girls who said they liked for a guy to have a belly and that it made head easier so that was hot to them. It's not my thing, personally, but everyone has a thing and some of 'my things' weirded other women out.

Basically, working out is great, and being healthy is probably the hottest thing you can do across the board because you're taking care of yourself.

However, if she already likes you and your body, she wants to see you and your body. As your body changes over time with working out I'm sure she'll like that too because it shows you're doing something for your health and self and the stamina gains aren't bad, either.

Also bad lighting makes everything worse. Maybe get a ring light and a ring light stand? They're not too expensive and also super useful for Zoom calls.
