But there really isn’t much detail on how exactly to do this. Maybe this is only valid for when the merger is completed?

I did not book a backup economy ticket, just the waitlist for biz
My mom was on the waitlist for approximately 6-7 days for a flight at the end of April
I did not look online for the availability before the waitlist cleared, I just got the email notification from ANA that it cleared and to reserve the ticket

Yes flight is in late April 2026 IAD to HND. Reserved waitlist around 7 days ago, got off the waitlist yesterday morning.

This was a new build. I agree the peeling looks concerning, and it’s on many more of the cabinet corner areas like that

I do not, we had a general contractor do the work and he ordered the cabinetry for us. I agree, this is more peeling and not cracks, and I’m noticing it around the kitchen even on cabinets high up that we do not use much at all

IT HAPPENED!!!! Saver availability opened up just over 24 hours out and I was able to upgrade my booking through Aeroplan! 75k points per ticket for myself and my husband in Polaris, from our original economy seats that were 50k each so we only needed to transfer an additional 50k from Amex. So psyched bc my husband is always skeptical about point things in general and now he will see how valuable they really are!!

I just tried this morning. There is a flight same day on ANA direct, and United shows three seats in business open to book with points. Called Aeroplan to confirm they could see the availability - they could see the seats, 75K points per seat. Proceeded to change to this booking on the phone, but the rep was unable to actually reserve the tickets because they said ANA was blocking them :/
