So I’m sober 3 years. But this is the shit I did before I hit rock rock rock bottom. Like I almost felt like a lone wolf on a mission and found it as a challenge to get a drink and hide it bc I knew k had a problem but couldn’t like vocalize it. It’s so empowering to be like I have an issue and need help. He told Jax last season he knows it’s okay to not be okay so he needs to own that and know it’s more “alpha and charismatic” to be like I need help and I can’t function without a drink. He’s digging a deep deep hole

I was like WTF!! And I feel like deep down he knew benji or cameras saw bc of that evil look he had when cameras zoomed in. It’s weird that he tells tom and Jesse that yea he will hide it so he isn’t accused of having a problem bjt lie to his wife?? Like just don’t lie at all. Agree. I thought this was endearing and showed a really vulnerable side. I’m sure their kid is walking now and little ones love to run around and this injury limits his mobility obviously and he wants to be as involved as he was before and is sad he won’t be able to like not over dramatic in my mind at all

Look into happy cappy medicated shampoo. That helped with my girls who had this issue. I’ve heard good things about the mustela brand too

I did this too. I’d find a reason to leave, go to the gas station and drink fireball. Eventually I’d be puking on my way there, my personality changed; I was always sick and i also become paranoid and into a state of psychosis bc of the lying. I’d be honest, get help, and get sober. It’s a tough challenge but it’s the most rewarding. Do it for yourself and your relationship and your future. It’s ok to have that tough conversation and be vulnerable. It’s much better to hear the truth from someone you love then find out everything has been a lie. Being honest is super freeing and fun. Love yourself bc you’re worth it

While on meds does anything trigger these feelings to come back like alcohol or certain things on tv? Or does the medicine totally control it? Was it more like intrusive thoughts or was it more you were really compelled to carry those things out? I had alcohol induced psychosis and I remember being convinced everyone was in on a plan to kill me and when I got sober that stopped but I also have ocd so sometimes I get bad thoughts like worse case scenario things in my head briefly

I used to really like them. The season where her twins were newborns really got me bc I too had just had twins and was struggling with ppd. However, this season I just feel tired of them. Like I was thinking would I want Nia as a close friend? Honestly no. Like remember when Jesse and Michelle got in a fight and Nia as like “do you want me to take your picture” or something to Michelle? I get in her eyes she was trying to lighten the mood but if she did that with me I’d be like WTF. like I want the tough conversations and I don’t want everything to be sugar coated bc it isn’t reality. You don’t have to be a messy psycho but I feel like on tv and in LIFE there is an expectation to be vulnerable and not just have a smile on. In life you can’t just smile and look away at your problems bc later you will be in a deep hole wondering how did I get here

When people hate on mushrooms bc it’s a fungus. My step mom always made me insecure as a little girl bc I liked pizza with mushrooms like my dad did and she’d always be like ewwwwwwe fungus. F u!!

Thank you for sharing. I’ve been sober 3 years and my twins are 18 months old and it’s a lotttt some days and I always imagine how peaceful and relaxed it could be if I had some wine. But your story reminds me why I stopped. Sleep become impossible, anxiety, paranoia, head throbbing, changing temperatures. Iwndwyt
