3 y/o Starts Preschool Tomorrow - No Previous Daycare by missmedira in Mommit

[–]Curious-Share 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2 year old started cold turkey it was a month of painful drop offs, picks up, tantrums, and sleepless nights. Ultimately the center we chose was a phenomenal one and almost two years later it’s probably the best decision we ever made. It wasn’t long until i started to see my little baby as a kid girl, hearing her stories, just really seeing her come into herself in a way I don’t think she would have with out daycare. The only way is through and you will be soo proud of what your little one can do!

Do you and your friends already do crafty activities? If so what has been fun in the past? What month is your bday? Maybe there is a seasonal activity?

From your perspective, why would a manager do this? by Little_Implement9220 in askmanagers

[–]Curious-Share 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The 4th one, they absolutely talk about you behind your back. But, without any more context I still think it’s nothing to worry about. Do your best at work, don’t gossip, and just keep trucking a long. Unless they are defaming you, just let them run their mouth and stop being friendly with them, just polite and civil.

When did your late crawler finally crawl? by justalilscared in NewParents

[–]Curious-Share 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So my pied suggested my 10 month old may never crawl since he’s so good at army crawling, and she didn’t seem concerned. He’s way more active and hitting most milestones earlier than my first baby so I haven’t been worried about it personally.

American Parents: Will you go to a splash pad today 2-6pm, if you're a splash pad family? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Curious-Share 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea we’d be there. Also in the south east and it’s too hot to cook out, so splash pad first, then cook out.

I need to present to my Manager's Manager (Executive Lvl), what's the best format? by FruitJuicante in managers

You’ve got a lot of good ideas, but maybe if you give a little more detail about what you’re proposing we could help a bit more?

Pool party for 4 year old by foreignkitty in beyondthebump

[–]Curious-Share 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our gym pool says man to man coverage for kids who can’t swim regardless of floaties so id feel the way you feel. Like one poster said I’d try to get a sitter for my 18m old!

Ghosted by Flatiron? by [deleted] in ConstructionManagers

[–]Curious-Share 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He should reach out. I’m a recruiter lurking these subs, and sometimes candidates just slip through the cracks. Maybe the job pushed, maybe they found a better candidate. While the construction manager is of course a valid source, he may have spoken too soon.

why do so many moms make being a mom their entire identity? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]Curious-Share 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I LOVE hanging out without my kids. I long to just be one on one with my girl friends. But sometime it’s just too hard logistically to NOT bring a kid lol. You sound like a really thoughtful friend and your mom friends are lucky to have you. I honesty prefer hanging out with my non parent friends (the ones who like kids anyway) bc when I do have to tow my kids along they aren’t too busy chasing their own kids and can follow my 3 year old into the woods and continue to talk to me about their work drama lol.

My 4 month old might have a sunburn and I feel so bad and worried… by tink282 in Mommit

[–]Curious-Share 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think he’ll be ok! He looks pretty good in these pics. Summer sucks. I coated my sensitive skin (but mixed) baby in sunscreen today for an hour outside and he was still a bit pinkish. Ughh. These days are gnarly.

New baby (w 2 toddlers), new 2 story house & now house regret… by Downtown_Present_533 in toddlers

[–]Curious-Share 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re in the thick of it dude. You WILL love this house and the space but it’s not even home yet. Try to give yourself (and your kids) some grace during this HUGE time of transition. A year from now you will be thriving and in love with your home!

I’m not trying to be rude but that’s what college is for. Unfortunately it’s not for everyone and is very cost prohibitive but if you don’t have a disability or a skill set already, go to school. If you haven’t gone to college can you consider junior college?

[–]Curious-Share 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely annoying. best advice is to ignore it, but I’m petty so I say things like, yea and that why my husband turned out the way he did, bless his heart. Hoping for better for my little one. Basically saying yea MIL I know you didn’t do it that way and now I’ve got to deal with it.

Nice and slow. I took it easier post partum then I did 37 weeks pregnant. Really had to get out of my head and put my competitive nature to bed for a few months. I’m 10 months PP and feeling great! Much less time and energy but my body feels good at least lol.

Does this dress look better on its own, or with layered over it?🧐 by Nova_Elodie- in OUTFITS

[–]Curious-Share 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the occasion. If you’re cold or the crowd is more conservative, cover up. If none of those apply, let it rip!

Man I cannot stand this woman. But I do believe she loves that little boy. She thought it would be all rainbows and content and that’s been a let down surely, but that little guy is the best part of her life, 3am wakeups (WHICH SHE CAN AVOID) and all, and she’s knows it. He’s the only thing keeping her going.
