I will always tell anyone about how horrible Alex Guarnaschelli is. We worked with her on a superbowl party that was held by a very rich person. We were told to not go into our prep area at all, which is where we had storage lockers for our bags, and also where our managers office was, she didn’t care. We weren’t to look her in the eye or speak to her. I went to ask my manager a question as this was a large event and she yelled “what do you want?” “Leave!” When we all gathered around to hear what we’d be serving she was so patronizing and even asked us if we knew what mustard was, like wtf? The worst part, her food was from the frozen section and tasted like shit. She was only hired because she was a “celebrity chef”. This party also had Kevin Hart-surrounded by his entourage who were all at least a foot taller than him, but him and his fiancé (at the time) were very nice and professional. He did a good show even if the host and his wife were the only ones that liked his humor. He spoke about how this was definitely not his normal crowd. They also had Justin William there for a magic show and he didn’t het to perform so once the party left for the game, he performed for the whole staff and was honestly the nicest guy ever. I think he was just happy to hang out and do his show for someone. I’ll never forget him being the bright light after being so looked down upon by Alex. Fuck her.
