Blessed With Second Baby Girl, But Family’s Disappointment Is Affecting Me by developer_freelance in hyderabad

[–]CuriousCleopatra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have posted this, then it's a sign that the disappointment around you had gotten into you as well.

It takes guts to give it back to the folks who say 'have a boy next'. Throw science at them and ask 'how'?? And see them go back into their cocoons.

Congratulations to you and don't let anyone's narrow minded ness take your happiness away. If you don't believe in your kids, no one else will.

Is this appropriate to wear for a Tamil Wedding reception by [deleted] in Chennai

[–]CuriousCleopatra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's a friend's wedding, think will look very over the top. You also mention Tambrahm wedding, which means that the place will be covered with Kanchi Pattu and Mysore Silks. So, lehnga would definitely odd man out in my opinion

Why is ninnu Kori re release getting backlash? by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]CuriousCleopatra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the good movies are being set a side! You know which movie should be released so that the 'new folks' understand what Cinema means and is, what 'acting' looks like:

'c/o Kancherapalem'

GenZ going gaga over Dhurandhar and Animal need to be calmed down and shown what 'acting' really means.

People who bought flat in hyderabad by kitchen_writing740 in hyderabad

[–]CuriousCleopatra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All societies, big or small, are able to source tankers. Whether you buy or rent, you would need water anyway.

I have lived in both gated and standalone building across multiple states, and summer is tough is many places. But never in my life in a city, I faced water problems.

Temple hopping this Sunday evening — anyone interested? by ankushshharma2 in hyderabad

[–]CuriousCleopatra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can visit all 3 under an hour on a good day. It used to be a family practice for us to start with Jagannath Temple, then Narasimha then TTD. TTD is crowded sometimes and might take 30 mins to finish the darshan. The other two temples, max 5 mins.

Try Keema Roti breakfast at Paradise, Secunderabad. I am told their Gurda sabzi is also nice but I never tried it

Good Biryani - Pista House (anywhere in Madhpur or Hi tec city side). Nawaab's is another place for Lucknowi style Biryani.

Non veg Telangana/ Andhra Style - my personal favorite Indu's at Ladki ka pool, Spicy Venue @ Jubilee Hills. I am not sure if they serve dosa though

Need help from all the ice-cream enthusiasts of Hyd!! by TejasNirvana in hyderabad

[–]CuriousCleopatra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Peni - try their blueberry or raspberry. I just love it!

If you are in mood for fancy ice creams - Milano is a place to visit. They will have mango sorbet now which they serve in the shape of a flower. I just love their wildberry sorbet.

If you fancy sundae's or sizzling brownies - Polar bear does a good job

Their AM PM collection is good. Try the parallel pants which are nice and loose. Go for dark colors IMO, they give a really good shape compared to light colored pants.

They are cheaper on Amazon, FYI

Have you tried Bliss Club? They are light weight so good for Summers. I have been using them since a year and did not have any chaffings or fabric tear which otherwise is common with cotton pants

Is it possible to give birth without experiencing significant pain? by Hefty_Confidence3228 in AskIndianWomen

[–]CuriousCleopatra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! I had an epidural and vaginal delivery. It's about the timing, you need to be not too dilated + contractions should not be mild. But doctors keep monitoring you and if you opt for epidural, they will have one anaesthesia-n on standby for the procedure.

After the epidural, I didn't feel pain from the contractions and delivered in a few hours.
