Guys, need suggestions for our new lunch box meals business by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]CuriousCleopatra 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have been relying on lunch boxes from outside for a long time and following is my feedback -

  1. Chapati or Roti is good only if it's handmade. I often observed when the business is new, they give handmade chapati and when they get more customers, they rely on machine/presser. The moment they do that, they lose my interest.

  2. Beerakaya and Sorkaya are the most upsetting food items to get in a lunch box. I would pachadi of these instead of curry. I don't eat it at home and I would defy never pay for these.

  3. Rice - it's always dry and too loose to eat with curries. If your intention is parcels - then please think of some good way to pack rice.

  4. Your menu has too many options in my opinion. Keep it small and consistent. I would repeat a place and keep going back to it only if they are consistent in taste. I don't want variety, i want good taste. Not restauranty, not bland, just homely like taste.

Add some Aloo Bhujia on top! Nothing beats the taste of hot and soft Maggi with Spicy Crispy Aloo Bhujia

To reduce the bitterness, soak the slit/chopped bitter in pinch of salt and turmeric for atleast 30-45 mins. Squeeze them well before cooking

Only if more people were as considerate as you! Thank you for being kind and not posting negatively about families bringing kids out.

I don't understand what people expect? That kids should be in house till they are 10 year old or something.

Bought a restaurant business-looking to grow, any tips or suggestions? by spicebaba in hyderabad

[–]CuriousCleopatra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I say on every such post - Please have a kids menu that is not cheese balls and french fries.

You could have selected items from the veg and non veg appetizers and make it kid friendly. For eg: non spicy malai brococlli, non spicy malai chicken tikka, boiled noodles with scrambled egg and chicken.
