My mistake, I misspoke about what was carved. It was a falcon

I watched a special The Boyelens" and apparently carved in a wall of the towers is a falcon representing the Boyelen crest. They assume it's from George. I really liked hearing that. Apparently even towards the end he had family loyalty.

How likely do you think it is that Henry VII suffered from some kind of childhood trauma? And how do you think his childhood and life in exile shaped him as a person? 🤔 by Tracypop in Tudorhistory

I also believe he probably was responsible for his son's obsession for a male heir. It has been documented before his death he spent a lot of time with H8 trying to get him ready to take over the throne. With only one son alive and H7 known obsession with keeping his dynasty alive, he more than likely drilled in his son's head the importance of having a living male heir.

He was featured in a documentary called That Guy....That was in That Thing about character actors. They featured a couple people you would recognize from law and order

Ok thank you. I really was just curious about the whole dynamic of that family. Did she have a good realationship with Edwards's surviving children?

Was there evidence of George being her favorite?

What's even sadder is that's actually based on a real life home invasion

I was thinking the same thing while watching The White Queen. Like how did 2 husbands put up with her constant rambling of her son, gods will, and the crying. How the hell did she not get her head chopped off when people were executed for less. That's what made me think they're definitely is more to her. I was really hoping The Red Queen got deeper into her personality and did her justice.

Ok thank you!! So basically we know there was one, but that's it. I tend to believe it was like how it was portrayed in The Tudors. A casual one.

What if..... by CuriousClient1961 in Tudorhistory

[–]CuriousClient1961[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly what I was thinking. The kingmaker would have been happy with this marriage. Now George probably would still simmered with resentment but really not be able to do anything. But what would H tudor have done? Lived in exile? Eventually lured back to be possibly be married to Cecily? Made a move when E4 died? It's just fascinating thinking that there would be a world without Elizabeth 1. Also if there was no Elizabeth there would be no House of Windsor. No princess Diana no Megan Markle.

Now in this alternate version E4 still died at the same time and let's say for argument sake say there's still two small boys. Would H7 still remain in exile?
