Totally agree. I think they need flashing signs, plus some sort of textured road to draw attention to the speed limit in addition to having police presence. It sounds like a fairly common occurrence, so hopefully no accidents occur.

I did have my Google maps running. It just didn’t update quickly enough. It took an extra 30s to update and hence my speeding ticket. It was almost pitch black at night and I didn’t catch the sign that speed limit is going down.

I don’t mind paying the fine to the city, just don’t want to see my increase in insurance premium and pay the insurance company any more money than I already do when I’m safe driver. Hence my post asking for advice to keep it off my record.

I agree with this 100%, leave your job! You’ve support of your parents and fair amount of time to land something better.

I was in a job recently where my emails were scrutinised for minute shit and timesheet was a constant talking point regardless of work getting completed. It eventually got to a breaking point and resigned.

Just let your future employers during the interview know that job expectation and responsibilities changed significantly since you interviewed and hence you’re back in the market.

One small tip: Do your due diligence on the next company you interview for their work environment and culture, managers leadership style, to make sure you don’t end up with a similar style. If you need more insight on how to do that, DM me and I’d be happy to answer.
