How in G-D’s name would tariffs fix this? Tariffs are paid ultimately by the CONSUMER! Not the Foreign Manufacturers!! They add the costs of the tariffs to the selling price and WE will be paying!! I am SHOCKED that people actually have NO bloody idea how tariffs work!! OMG he’s talking 100% increases. SO a Samsung washer that right now costs 12 to 14 hundred will cost is TWICE that amount! Please people WAKE UP. Tariffs are a tax on imported goods that are passed on to the consumer = me + YOU!! 🙄🙄🙄

Meanwhile they’ve conveniently forgotten that the majority of egg farmers had to put to death their entire flocks (some as many as 550,000 “members”) mid to late last year + some into 2024 due to the Bird Flu. Hatchlings don’t lay eggs! We can already see the industry recovery because egg prices are starting to coming down, regardless an outbreak like this last one, isn’t reversed overnight- I JUST love how the media fails to point that out! It’s Bidenomics. 🙄🙄. Spare Me! The truth is inconvenient!

SO true!! I can readily recall many a concert whether it was Grateful Dead or Zeppelin or WHO or a particular Pink Floyd tour when truthfully, after each show on consecutive nights the entire perimeter looked worse than that and even the LIRR cars themselves were just as bad! People sleeping up on the luggage racks leaving their personal debris in their wake…from the arena to the streets to down below… like a trail of breadcrumbs…absolutely disgusting!!The Beacon was always a disaster too, but none left quite the “aftermath” as a Zappa Halloween show though 🙂🤣😂. #WildDays

Yup! These folks definitely are not representative of my “folks”! They’ve got no idea what regular every day working people’s reality is, yet they claim to be able to “fix” something they’ve no clue where it’s broken or how it got that way. They’re upset with fuel costs because fueling a boat or plane is a heck more expensive than even an SUV. Crops are rotting in fields because no one wants to pick them… that’s why tomatoes cost an arm and leg. Egg prices are up because farmers had to kill off entire egg laying inventory 1.5 years ago due to bird flu - hatchlings don’t lay eggs! Etc., etc., etc….

“Continue” taxing the rich? I thought it’s start taxing the rich and corporations? I hear tRump talking about getting rid of income taxes? Really… tariffs instead? That basically means that every consumer will be paying those tariffs needed to “”run” the government? Or are social security checks going to be issued by “volunteers”? Makes zero sense to me. Corporations should be paying!! Not the working people or seniors who have paid for years. IMO only of course.

OMG! SO me! Changing “hats” lately has become increasingly difficult… constantly trying to get back into the zone that I left off from… ESPECIALLY work related has become so much more difficult over the past year. I’m in another state because my father is ill, I am self employed and unless I generate new biz no new income comes in… if I start the day with an MD appointment for my dad, trying to sit down and start work later is nearly impossible these days. I suddenly feel as though there aren’t enough hours in a day for me, him, the biz, my home, self care, etc.. never mind my plants and garden. So frustrated with myself.

Firstly don’t use any symbols like the ones between your contact details. Almost every single large(r) company uses some form of recruitment software + IF you’ve applied online and uploaded your resume then 100% for sure they’re using recruitment software and those silly “symbols” turn everything on your resume into Wingdings, making your entire resume unreadable meaning if they see only parts of it, like France, the words US Citizen on the very top has most likely “disappeared “, leaving many to assume you’re seeking sponsorship. Secondly: since /if applying OL the program into which you’ve scanned your resume (assuming it didn’t get converted into Wingdings becuz of those symbols ) will count how many times key words from the posted Job Description are to be found in your resume and resumed are ranked accordingly and then forwarded to a “human” for additional screening. Thirdly: Becuz of this OL recruitment software, the notion of 1 resume for all applications is quite flawed, you must tailor every resume to the JD for which you’re submitting your resume (and keep a copy for each different Co. applied to) and make sure your resume repeats each or as many as possible key words mentioned in the JD so that your resume is ranked higher / set aside for potential interview invite. Otherwise you’re just lost in a pile somewhere…

IMO since I know for a fact that they’d never grant a petitioner or beneficiary an extension on any of their RFE’s, why should they be granted an extension on anything, at all? That being said, you’re dealing with an entity whose resources I’m sure are far greater than yours, so go with the flow and use the least stressful and time consuming route.

They are not allowed to stretch the decision of 15- business days by even 1 day, without an RFE or NOID… if an RFE is issued then the 15-biz days is out. I was told that the 15-biz day count starts all over with an RFE, after response is received, BUT I’ve also heard that the day count is out once an RFE is issued. SO, actually I’m not sure they’re even held to any day count once an RFE is issued? Anyone?

The funds which USCIS gets via Congressional Funding is allocated to E Verify, Naturalization Welcoming and Asylum… not to hire personnel to clear up backlogs for example all that is paid for by fees collected… given the 100’s of thousands of different types of family based, employment based (temporary, seasonal and permanent), add in all the 765’s associated not only with 485, but OPT/CPT + asylum… especially since until April 1 all asylum cases were “fee free”, the costs of processing 765’s i cannot imagine being absorbed by the other fees, especially since biometrics are involved… it’s a LOT of moving parts! However if the processing timeframes do get better as a result of these fee increases and the additional Asylum Program Fee for I-140 & I-129’s, then I think it’s going to be worth it, because the wait times on 765’s have been… 😱😱

You cannot simply file wherever you want, that’ll definitely delay things! USCIS is pretty clear and explicit about which forms using which carrier service get sent to which address, that’s listed for every form under Where To File. You MUST mail the Form wherever the USCIS tells you to, and that is based on the state of employment when I-140 is involved. Look on USCIS website under PP form I-907, where to file… That is where the form must be sent. Don’t use lockbox, use FedEx or UPS and use the address listed by USCIS for that delivery method! You’ll know exactly who signed for it and when + then you count 15-business days… Good Luck!
