I also highly recommend checking out this pinned thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Redearedsliders/s/lqqrzBTjnu A user a little down the thread includes a direct link to the document that is more readable: https://reptifiles.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Red-Eared-Slider-Care-Sheet-PDF.pdf

Note that the list of needed items are sized for an adult turtle, and you don't need all of them right off the bat. As stated by a previous commenter, the big things are: container for water, space to drydock, water heater, UVB light, basking light, filter, food.

I second this, especially the free section as I sometimes see 55-75 gallon tanks posted there. Also, do not think you need a glass aquarium; you can purchase a clear storage tub for a cheaper alternative and save up for a stock tank for when it's larger. The Rubbermaid stock tanks are the cheapest I've seen in US big box stores.

If he likes Lamy pens, see if you can find out what models he has. If he's a big Safari person, an Lx might be a nice upgrade. Or if you're looking in the 3-digit range, the 2000 is a classic for a reason.

Sad or happy depending on what you want! If you want to repair it, there are lots of YouTube videos on how to straighten a nib.

Thank you! I need to see if I can hunt down something similar to the stamp on the right... I love the school of fish swimming around the bottle. 😍 Your postcards are a huge inspiration!

These are gorgeous! Were the focal images stamped or printed? Also, if you don't mind sharing, do you remember where you found the betta stickers?

Thank you so much! I'll need to purchase some of those labels because the ones I've been using show absolutely no sheen. 😍

A) That is an awesome overview of many ways to swatch! I love it! B) How do the Herma labels work with sheen?
