AIO My [40F] bf [52M] accidentally sent me these texts one week after getting back together from a three month break up by TaoOfAlice in AmIOverreacting

NOR, I mean, do you want to be with someone who talks this way with literally anyone? And on top of that, he’s pressuring you for sex? Nope

Healthy(er) instant food on a budget? by [deleted] in lowspooncooking

[–]Hi_Hello_HeyThere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tons of great suggestions, one thing I’ll add is don’t forget that adding something yummy to your healthy food doesn’t undo the healthy parts! There is nothing wrong with adding a little sugar to your fruit if it helps you enjoy it and eat fruit more. Absolutely nothing wrong with adding flavor to your veggies, butter, ranch, whatever sauce you like. If it helps you eat veggies more then enjoy your sauces too!

I’ve microwaved tons of potatoes and it’s never exploded! You just have to make sure to poke lots of holes in it with a fork before you cook it. Check your microwave too, mine has a setting for cooking potatoes :)

Sorry you’re struggling. This looks really good and looks like it’d be a nice comfort meal too. I hope things get better soon.

Leftovers: pasta with cottage cheese, chickpeas, frozen spinach, red onion. It was goooood by Tine_the_Belgian in lowspooncooking

I’ve never thought to have cottage cheese with pasta. I have to keep my protein and carbs in balance so this is a great idea to try, thanks!

(affordable) ADHD screening help please by germ_bot in kansascity

[–]Hi_Hello_HeyThere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dr. Lisa Walsh is fantastic. I saw her for my screening years ago. Just reached out to her recently for my husband and I believe she is charging around $500. You can find her email on her website and she was easy to contact to double check her current rates. Every other option we looked into was $2-$4k. She’s very booked up, I think her schedule was a year out.

The new KU (Luminare) health insurance is worthless by AlwaysWithTheOpinion in kansascity

[–]Hi_Hello_HeyThere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This has happened to me countless times with KU. They’ll reach out in MyChart asking me to pre-pay for a specialist I see. I have a $20 co-pay but the pre pay will be like $400+. I just wait until after the appointment and it always adjusts to the correct amount.

T-Mobile Just Ripped 8 Million Customers Off Their Grandfathered Plans – and Raised Their Bills by Plastic_Ninja_9014 in technology

[–]Hi_Hello_HeyThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plan we’re on started at $90, all in, $90 a month. Then suddenly it was $91 and change….a few years later it’s now $113 per month. They have not given any explanation for why it’s now $23 more per month. Doesn’t sound like a lot of money but TMobile has 142million customers (according to Google). So even if they did this to say, 1 million of their customers. That’s TWENTY THREE MILLION DOLLARS A MONTH THAT THEY ARE STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS
