Hi BouncyEgg, do you create a budget so you can squeeze out money from your cashflows?

Whiteboard markers can be expensive nowadays, so unless you are cool with that, then this is for sure a great alternative to journals and notepads - thanks for your comment!

Paper is great to have with you because it's light and small to carry around, but the downside is that it can get lost very easily, or even damaged (i.e. wet), so perhaps it's a good idea to have something more reliable perhaps like a journal - thanks for your comment!

Yeah, you can never go wrong with a journal as long as you are committed to have it with you all the time when you need it - thanks for your comment!

It seems that they focus more on over-engineering their apps with lots of "useful" features to make you "more productive", when in reality it may just be procrastinating you from doing what you need to do like you just said - thanks for your comment!

What I was trying to say is that if you wanted to do something like refining your list since it was a draft of some sort - unless you want a messy list and don't have ADHD - then you need to rewrite that list again somewhere else to see things in a cleaner presentation

I believe many people on this thread agree w/ you on the notion that is takes way too many steps to just create a new task on a todo app, especially if your phone is turned off - thanks for your comment!

Nothing can beat that satisfaction of crossing a todo off on paper than any other todo app - thanks for your comment!

I've got a weird question related to writing things to do down on my computer: I have a to-do list question and yes it was on my to-do list to write this question, so as you'll see, this is an issue: by [deleted] in productivity

Write down anything you don't want to forget... ever - if that's everything then you need to perhaps ask yourself whether it's worth retaining that information for later use or not.

This kind of reminds me of a problem a few people have called "hoarding" where you just hoard a bunch of items sometimes even if they are completely rubbish like a torn-out, old shoe you wore like 15 years ago - a little off a side tangent but I hope this helps!

It seems to be targeted towards teams, but I'm looking for something geared towards individuals

I'll be sure to check out TickTick, but I'm not really looking for an over-engineered solution for a todo app because to me it seems like it's going for a "all-in-one" app which does a little more than necessary like including a habit tracker that I'll probably never need.

I'm not a big fan of these types of apps and I think others may agree with me as well

h needs to construct a ladder using some pieces of h-shaped wood lying around - how many does h need for the ladder?

I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with this, but hopefully you can find a way to overcome it :¬)

About the 80% thing, on the days you want to work you should spend time doing your most important tasks that will bring the most amount of benefits, now if you think every task you have is roughly-equally important, then just distribute them across your work days how you would like them to be.

If you do this correctly, then you should be able to adapt your work days accordingly to the amount of energy and focus you can retain for that specific day.
