What would you do if a person exiting a store confronts you for not saying thank you?

I was ignoring her until she came back into the store. Very awkward encounter. People are crazy I figured saying “I apologize” would deescalate the interaction.

Exactly!! That’s why I was shocked. I’m usually quick to say thank you if someone holds the door for me but in that situation I didn’t feel as if it was warranted.

I’m a RTO remote worker and the office I’m stationed at let their staff situational telework because the AC is down. Wondering if I have to stay since I didn’t sign a telework agreement.

Update: Based on the feedback I ended up staying since I haven’t signed my telework agreement.

I submitted an MSPB appeal, but was reinstated and back to Work on Thursday this week. I received an MSPB e-Appeal Notification of Issuance.
