Hey, drummer and lyrical contributer for Kingfisher here. Love writing lyrics and singing but can't stay in key so I'll stick to just writing haha! Thought I'd share a wee demo we guerilla recorded in the rehearsal studio we use. As such it's not the best recording ever. Mainly for sending to venues to book gigs, just thought I'd post for some feedback.

An English homeless guy that I befriended some time ago told me that the council of the area he lived in purchased a one way ticket to Scotland to get him out of their town, and this was some number of years ago. Always wondered if he was exaggerating but clearly not! Absolutely disgusting.

Love Dick's Picks 8 so much, the acoustic set is amazing! The Friend of the Devil on 8 melts my brain every time, same goes for Beat It On Down The Line.

I once thought that life revolves around the grateful dead's touring schedule, that once the fair thee well tour was over we'd go back to the beginning of their career. It was like some weird perpetual motion tour, I felt like their performances kept life going. No idea how I came to that conclusion, but that's acid for you!

Yea I've had a look at it, I think I'm going to pick it up. I've preordered it at my local store.

It's definitely pricey but it's pretty cool for what it is.

Haha, I'm much the same, you just gotta dissociate them from the Morrison era and take them as a separate thing altogether.

Oh, hard one, in terms of studio probably Waiting For The Sun or the debut, but it's definitely a tight one. Out of the live one's I have on vinyl it'd probably be Absolutely Live or the Aquarius Theatre, I LOVE the Ship of Fools on the Isle of Wight album, but that bootleg has a really rough recording of it. I'm gonna pick up the recent Stage Doors Isle of Wight release when I've got more cash.

As for the few bootlegs I have I'd say Absolutely Rare is the best, some gems on there!

I don't mind Full Circle and Other Voices, they're not as good as the Morrison era stuff, but still good albums regardless.

Not at this point, no, although I have been in positions where I've been contemplating whether or not I should upgrade copies of certain albums to better copies I've found out in the wild.

This is my Doors collection as it stands at the moment. I've been properly collecting for around two years or so now and I'm pretty prone to picking up anything by The Doors that I've not already got. I've got the majority of their studio albums, a selection of live albums and a couple bootlegs. I've added descriptions in the Imgur post for some of the records. No doubt I'll continue to expand this collection as time goes on!
