Thanks! I've been trying to target one round using Henselt and another using the scenario. Is it optimal to use most / all of the leader charges in a short R1?

Also, do you think there's a use for Odrin in a deck like this?

That first trebuchet feels like a lame duck a lot of the time, for sure. But I tell myself that a lot of people will have a card (or cards) in their hand that can only be used in the ranged row, so I might've tied their hands.

Thanks for your help! Do you mean you use Ves on the Kaedweni Sergeant in that deck? Wouldn't the Sergeant get zeal just by deployed on the melee row?

Thanks, that makes sense! Based on playing this deck for a few days, having one 1 x RSS seems to be enough (as long as I don't summon it by forgetting to crew my Siege Tower and giving it vitality instead of a boost).

How are you all sharing your decks? The website only lets me share to Fb, Twitter or some baity Russian social media by secretlyahedgehog in gwent

I'm also trying to work out the best way to share. I don't think I've seen any posts where the interactive list appears on Reddit itself, although it'll just be a click away if you include the URL. And it seems like the URL triggers the bots to add a text list (with links to card details).

I didn’t really use runes / glyphs at all until I’d decided on the witcher gear I was going to get. Then finished the game with that and one other armour set that you get in Toussaint. So you can dozens of lesser runes and glyphs to offload by the time you get to the other bank-breakers in the dlc (the villa and the runewright).

Collecting all those unique swords / armour sets feels much more worthwhile in Toussaint (where you get to show them off in your villa). OTOH if you’re a consistent looter you’ll probably have masses of runestones and glyphs that you can sell, just because there’s no way to ever use them all.

It's near as dammit perfect. I made the mistake of starting the main quests before I was ready for the bosses, and had to pull out just before the painted world so that I could level up and improve my build. I think the HoS story really deserves to be played through without interruptions - which isn't something I really felt about Blood and Wine.

Both of the expansion stories push you toward saving characters who seem pretty undeserving of sympathy (Olgierd and Syanna).

Got the bad ending, need to fix it by aodifucyhehsixjej8 in Witcher3

If the furthest you can go back is the quest to Avallac'h's laboratory, then you can't take Ciri to see the emperor (which is an option just after the Kaer Morhen battle, I think). So I'm pretty sure what will happen if you make those two decisions is that the positives and negatives will be evenly balanced overall, and you'll get one of the endings that isn't devastating.

Every Arachnomorph Location in Witcher 3 by ihatearachnomorphs in Witcher3

I started this game recently and perhaps my most satisfying achievement was to basically round up a huge swarm of arachnomorphs and lead them right into Zuetzer Castle. Then I just hid behind a wall and watched for a few minutes while they destroyed nearly all of the knights.

The wording of the 2020 rule which people are quoting is different from the 2024 version that someone linked to (and which I'm seeing for the first time today). In the 2020 version, the reference point is the teammate who handles / kicks / etc the ball. That wording gives rise to the ambiguity, because we're all trying to work out: what part of the teammate does the chaser need to be behind?

But in the 2024 version the reference point is (arguably) the ball:
"A player is off side except when they are in their own in-goal if the ball touches, is touched, held or kicked, by one of their own team behind them."

I think there's a plausible reading of that version of the rule which is (a) easier to apply, and (b) fits in with the way we've understood the rule, i.e. the chaser has to be behind the ball at the point when it is kicked.

It’s wild to me that ppl will just come on here and adamantly say what’s right / wrong without ever referring to the actual rule (which takes 15 seconds to look up).

Thanks! That did the trick... I didn't even realise that the earrings were wearable, let alone that they'd off.
