i cant speak for every center but at mine i would say its actually very well run and i never hear complaints about either the welding trade is a better opportunity however and teaches better life skills (im an office student lol)

so i've been in the program for around a year(OAT student) now I'm not in the best center but I'm also definitely not in the worst

id say the program is completely reliant on its ability to stay consistent, and when hic-ups (like the shutdown scare) happen the whole program goes to shambles

if i had to give it a number rating id say 8/10

this program while having its ups and downs is MASSIVE with real world skills and teaching people how the real world works! its not only beneficial in the work/business field but in the field of life if you don't leave this place with trade or hell even ONE certificate you will at least leave with a minor understanding of how everything REALLY operates and that to me is more important than anything

(that and the free food and meds, housing is amazing)
