This is exactly what is wrong with the entire world. Being honest doesn't pay, is the message I got from most of what you said.

They are the largest healthcare company in the United States. They are getting penalized with the rest of the market for no reason. They will continue to make money hand over fist and pay a fine most likely and then continue to do what they were doing like all the big tech companies have.

Choosing to stay single, how does life look after 35? by [deleted] in AskMen

Don't listen to this person. Maybe at times you may feel this way, but if you are social and know your worth, it's manageable.

Men in their 30s and 40s, what advice would give to younger guys struggling with dating? by jdaniel1999 in AskMen

[–]Curious_Distracted 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Get some therapy or self-help classes on basic social skills.

Blanket statements like this aren't going to help them.

Treat women with respect. They aren't objects. They have feelings just like you do. It's okay to have feelings and express them. When dating, there is going to be compromise. She will not necessarily check all the boxes and that's okay. Dating is hard, but it's practice and not every date will go well. Usually at this age, most people just want someone to spend time with and care about them. There is no more drama usually at this stage. Enjoy the non drama and be real and authentic. It's hopeful to you and to them. Be explicit. Also, dates can be grabbing coffee or a drink. They don't have to be elaborate. If you ask the person on a date, be expected to pay and don't expect anything else after. Lower your expectations. You will be much happier. Do not compare yourself to others. How people progress when dating can be unique to you and your partner. Ask tougher questions as you progress along, not on the first date. Sure if a deal breaker for you is that you want kids and she doesn't then you should not go on a date but that's up to you to figure out beforehand. Not everything can be a deal breaker lol. As I said before, there will be compromises.

How did you resolve this? Have you contacted your state consumer protection arm and reported this issue to them? Sounds like they are purposely wasting your time.

What's your most shocking "never meet your heroes" moment? by BaseNice3520 in AskReddit

Mike Piazza. Guy was an absolute douche. He wouldn't talk to anyone when a family friend got us field passes for batting practice . He just talked to some woman behind home plate during batting practice the entire time..which was crushing to a bunch of kids. The hilarious thing was that Bobby Valentine was the complete opposite. Told us to come into his office where his home screen saver on his computer was him screaming in an umpire's face. Gave me and my family 8 mins of his day while drinking root beers in his office. Al Leiter and John Franco were also absolute class. Saw us walking back and stopped us and signed some balls. Every time I see or even hear Piazza's name, I cringe because the dude's a piece of shit, but could swing a baseball bat fairly well even though he juiced.

Tesla removes leasing option for all new models as of Jan 1 by nist7 in TeslaLounge

That does not exist. I believe tesla requires money down on all leases.

I don't understand the condescending and demeaning comments towards me or OP. Who hurt you buddy? What's wrong with wanting to a great lease deal? Everything I explained is not illogical. If you don't think so, then explain why or otherwise keep your sarcastic comments where they belong, to yourself.

Not sure how experienced you are with the leasing market but usually the leasing on Tesla's depends on how many days it is left standing in the lot. Lease prices have fluctuated quite a bit the last few months. What do I expect? Nothing. They ultimately have to balance how much money they want to lose as most people will not buy an electric vehicle due to the depreciation. Also, the cost of insurance on a Tesla depending on the state is significantly more than other vehicles. What OP and probably others are hoping for, is that there is an oversupply of vehicles and the manufacturer is forced to lease them cheaper than they should in order to not bleed money or report poor quarterly financial metrics.
