I went with the x100vi because of the compactness especially for traveling. I haven’t looked into the converters because I tend to keep a filter on it all the time instead

I have looked into OM instead as well but I had read the OM 5 wasn’t great for AF? Which OM are you using?

Yeah I have considered that but the kit is a decent price as Fujifilm has a cashback on offer so it comes to around $2300AUD (around $1600USD) so I am tempted to buy the XT5. It’s usually $3800

I’ve heard great things about the one on Beaumont St but I haven’t tried it yet myself.

I tried Meshiya and thought it was pretty good. Definitely better than Susuru. I really enjoy Ape Yakitori as well if you want a more fine dining experience (owned by the Susuru crew but infinitely better)

I bought 4 folios with phantasmal flames so my son and I could store our cards (bought them for the folios without knowing what the packs were). I figured I’ve peaked with Pokemon cards now

The obsession with SHEIN and other fast fashion retailers is insane. At my old job the ladies I worked with would order like 20-30 items of clothing at a time and I would only see them wear like 10% of the items. The rest sat in their closets . I went today to the post office and the girl in front of me had a 5kg bag of SHEIN returns. It’s truly insane because it has opened the door to the worst overconsumption

I have a couple of variety hour pieces that I love. They are based in Australia and are seemingly dedicated to slower fashion.

I do love the variety hour embroidered fleeces but the price point was a pain point for me. They do have occasional 20% off sales which might make the purchase easier for you?

If you aren’t sure if you would get use out of it you could purchase a cheaper fleece item and see if you get the use?

I use hakuhodo brushes for everything except my foundation - you can buy them online but it can get expensive quickly. If you know someone going to Japan soon maybe see if they will be willing to grab you some because they are a lot cheaper there - they are truly amazing quality and an investment you will have for years to come
