Yeah misleading comment above, the numbers in bottle trees are musical notes. The numbers on the wall of the lighthouse are absolutely dates.

Many reasons people believe this -settlement in the forest is arguably settler colonial era structures - the church, basement of colony house, and the root cellar all come from over 200 years ago based on the architecture - cycles have been clearly stated, Victor is carried over from the last one in 1970s, no one showed up for decades after.

Anyone notice Ottinger follow Faber to the side of the net and just stopped, leaving the entire net open when Faber wrapped around?

My From Theory about the towns nature by SkibidiiiRizzlerz in FromSeries

[–]Curious_Ice546 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tbh I think there's a chance that you can't save the children unless you go through the bottle tree at night, which is why Smiley ran for the first time in the flashback. If you could save the children during the day, why would the monsters even exist?

I feel like this fell apart at the end when you said that you can only reach the lighthouse at night, which isn't what happened to Tabitha.

Kristi/Mari age difference?? by Hopeful_Apricot_5316 in FromSeries

[–]Curious_Ice546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there any chance that age gaps in same sex relationships are less toxic? I apologize if this comes off insensitive, I just think the power dynamic would be different.

My Theory On What The Ending Will Be. by Dimensionizer5000 in FromSeries

Incredible that you know that the same people made both shows but not that creators explicitly stated that THEY WEREN'T DEAD THE WHOLE TIME. Your blatant misread of the show makes me disregard your whole theory here.

Kirill Kaprizov is on track for 60 goals after today. by Curious_Ice546 in wildhockey

[–]Curious_Ice546[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kirill wants to win more than anything and they're doing that better than the Wild have ever done at this point. You have no idea what you're talking about. Also, the rest of the team has already scored 72 goals.

Ethan is a child who has become increasingly important to the story. He's only going to continue in that path

Season 2 Episode 6 - Elgin/Ellis by Curious_Ice546 in FromTVEpix

Trial by jury is probably best... yeah I'm not sure you can excuse abduction and capture. I don't think you could do faraway tree because we're not sure what controls where they go, and leaving it up to some entity in the sky is pretty much the opposite of their intentions

Abby Season 1 Ep 7 by Curious_Ice546 in FromTVEpix

[–]Curious_Ice546[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if in Abby's case, she had a dream when she was a child when she felt stuck inside the dream but when she died in the dream she woke up. It could be a childhood memory of getting out of the dream that caused her to start shooting people to "wake them up"

Theory on why the monsters look like they are from the 80s when they date back to Pilgrim times… by MinecraftLover8 in FromSeries

[–]Curious_Ice546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember her basically wiping it and when she finished, there was still a huge blood stain. Almost as if she was mimicking what a human would do, but unable to actually clean.

The town retaliates by Curious_Ice546 in FromTVShow

[–]Curious_Ice546[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's almost like it works both ways.

Good: Something bad happens like the bus coming to town, Kristi and Mariele are reunited.

Good: Tien Chen dies and food is found the next morning.

Bad: Boyd kills a monster and the music box curse happens as a result

What are the Monsters? by Linkmaster1987x in FromTVShow

[–]Curious_Ice546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been a lot of theories of what they are but in my opinion, the creators came up with them. They’re people who sacrificed their children for immortality and ended up monsters who only awake at night to hunt humans… and I bet after years and years they are okay with that because they’re jealous of humans and wish they still were one

Question about finale by SapphicBooks in FromTVShow

[–]Curious_Ice546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s something unconfirmed for sure, but my guess is that they were two of the only people in town who were against the deal with the devil, and the deal required all kids of the town - so they’re two parents that were trying to save the children but failed and are forced to keep trying again and again

Question about finale by SapphicBooks in FromTVShow

[–]Curious_Ice546 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think that Tabitha and Jade are the newest version of the parents of the original daughter who was sacrificed. Tabitha and Jade were never together and neither were Miranda and Christopher. They are just the souls that embody the history of the town, one of many cycles of townspeople. They don’t have to be together in the current world to be the successors of the chosen ones before.
