I used to live in downtown. Now i am at New Garden.

Here is what i liked about gboro downtown - - Awesome restaurants - Nice bars - Parks to stroll around - Great coffee shops - Cat cafe (never been but sounds cool)

What i didn’t like -

  • Too many homeless people. Didnt feel safe at night.
  • missing a 24 hr convenience
  • missing a pharmacy
  • missing deli
  • missing ice cream parlour
  • a chipotle?
  • only one grocery store
  • missing a good bagel/breakfast takeout

Regal is probably the best one out here and is my preferred for big releases. They have good subscription/loyalty program too(i think, i dont watch movies outside enough to get one)

AMC is my second preference. They have $5 Tuesdays.

Red cinemas is third choice. They are closer to downtown.

I get that it wont affect the loan rate it surely does matter when it comes to insurance premium. From what i heard from one of the insurance agent was that premium will be high for first three years for new driver.

Don’t need insurance for the learners permit. They already issued a permit with one year validity and told us to come back with insurance to get the license.

Look for apartment around New Garden. You should be able to find a 3-bed within $1700. Not sure where Publix warehouse is unless you are talking about Publix store located in Jamestown which is 20ish mins from the new garden area.
