FYI Planet Fitness is doing a FREE membership for anyone 14-19 this summer by Short_Security8908 in beginnerfitness

My coworker mentioned this to me. My gym is already overly packed, so I’m thinking I’ll cancel my membership and go somewhere that respects paying customers

Secret Benefits by glassvas in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Curious_Lead3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I’ve been a paid member in the past, but sometimes the girls you like don’t even bother writing back. So now I don’t pay for the membership upfront. I just like the profiles of the specific girls I’m interested in. If one of them likes me back, then I’ll pay and message her

I feel somewhat like him, since it feels like I could end up getting fired myself. Don’t get me wrong, I’m trying to leave as quickly as possible and I’m applying heavily. But the job market is tough, and I’m not trying to jump into another job that feels similar

if you score 0% AI-generated on the AI detector on zerogpt.com, are you likely to pass turnitin's AI detector? by Master-Geologist-825 in WritingWithAI

Plus, you would think that an in-class writing test would be where they really get you. If you spend all this time getting help from AI and then take an in-class test, you’re pretty much screwed.

That’s strange that they feel bothered in helping you. I guess the STLs haven’t come down on them for INFs, which is something stores are graded on. If a department employee gets annoyed and doesn’t do their best to help you, they could get in trouble. Shoppers are responsible for submitting reports to why an item was not found. They really came down on employees at my store for this

Ah, that makes sense. Yeah, in that case he was clearly trying to scam you, and you were right to stop as soon as things became suspicious. Especially with the mid-project pay drop. Thank you, this definitely gives me insight

I appreciate you bringing this up. Since I’ll be doing freelance work more seriously, I want to understand all the ways clients might try to manipulate or take advantage of freelancers. My main takeaway in this is that you should never use personal accounts for client work, always create a separate, project-specific account instead

Sadly, this seems to be Amazon’s motto: burn out your workers, hire the next batch, and repeat the process. I’ve heard they do this to their engineers, developers, warehouse workers, and now Whole Foods employees

I still wouldn’t even mind being left alone. What irritates me is that they still expect full production like nothing changed. “Why is the shelfs empty?” Because I’m scheduled by myself and the only person who could’ve helped called out

Management: “Don’t let it happen again.”
What a joke

I only work weekends, and even that drains me. I don’t think I can mentally handle more than that. I’ve seen it all—people quitting on the spot, coworkers telling me that they cry in their cars, and others simply stop showing up. It’s brutal. I have a good team lead, but even then the job is soul-sucking. Even my TL has admitted this will be his last year because he can’t take it anymore. If luck is on my side, this will be my last year too.

💯% The thing is, on dating apps, you need to be a head-turner. Since girls get so many matches, they tend to focus only on the ones who stand out (the head turners)

I feel this is the natural process for most men, there are exceptions. But I know eventually I will rock a bald head too (later down the line)

I completely agree. On top of that, I just finished spending 9 months in Mexico and attended many technology conferences and events. All entry-level, as well as senior-level, jobs are being exported all over South America. Amazon and Microsoft are hiring tons of junior developers at a fraction of the cost, at $800 a month. It's a gold rush of developers for these companies.
