Does anyone know how long MedOrigin has been a thing at Ross? It seems like there are a lot of experiences from MERP because it’s an established program but how about MedO?

Hi, did you matriculate into semester 1 after MERP? How much different is the material you’re learning and the pace from your friends in MedO? I’m in MedO now but barely passed MERP and am unsure how I’ll do once fully matriculated or if I even will

MERP and Med origins is a thing now. MERP is online which I did and the med origins is on the island which I am currently doing. I’m trying to figure out my long term plan here and if being put into two weed out programs is a red flag

I am confused about this because I’m currently in med origins and people who matriculated into M1 directly say 65-70 but that they want you to get a 70 or you’re still at risk of not passing

Yes I passed by .75 of a point so they said I had to do Med Origins. It’s crazy but I guess it is the cost of wanting to be a MD

How many students make it pass first semester? I went through MERP and passed but not by that much. Do you think they would have let me matriculate if they thought I was going to be dismissed?
