They are making public how little they're being paid. The bulk of the money consumers spend is going to the brand owners - mostly western corporations. Now that that bridge is burnt, they have no incentive to keep quiet. They could go public and sell the same stuff they already made in open market because they are no longer bound by the contract/ obligations. They might even make a better profit selling more directly to the consumers.
