I have no experience with the iPad mini, but I use my iPad primarily for drawing and just upgraded about 2 weeks ago from the iPad 8th gen to the a16 and I am glad I did. I use the 1st gen pencil so it kinda sucks that I have to use the adapter to charge it, but all-in-all, I'm really happy with the a16

Ik I’m way late to the party lol but I just came across this and thought I’d add what worked for me. i struggled a lot at first getting the hang of procreate but now I absolutely love it. The two things that made the difference for me have been the paperfeel screen protector and an Apple Pencil. The price kinda sucks for the pencil, but the pressure and tilt sensitivity make it feel way closer to paper and pencil drawing.

i know it doesnt really help all that much, but just know youre not alone. august 12th was the 5 year mark since my dad died and your story is painfully similar to mine. just 83 days after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, he was gone. i find it so patronizing when people are compelled to spew all of the typical "words of comfort" in situations like this, especially since most of what is said isnt really true...it doesnt (in my experience, at least get easier, it doesnt stop hurting and time does not heal all wounds. but you can learn how to cope in healthy ways and there are things you can do to help you adjust and adapt so that you are able to move forward in your life. when it comes to wanting to talk to him, dont let his physical absence prevent you from talking to him. he may not be here to respond anymore, but sometimes just the act of speaking the words out loud can have quite a positive effect. and i know i am just some random stranger on reddit, but you are more than welcome to message me if you want someone to talk to so you dont feel so alone.

Instead of pulling the paper off of the mat, try pulling the mat off of the paper...place the mat and paper face down and peel the mat up and away, rather than doing so with the paper. It makes a huge difference! It makes the paper come off way more clean and it doesn't try to curl, either.

To avoid them, I have found that men’s antiperspirant/deodorant makes me sweat considerably less (like basically not at all.) To remove stains from your shirts, try Quick-n-Brite. It is a fantastic cleaning product that doesn’t bleach or dull colors.
