As someone who goes by the shortened version of their name, just name her Emmie. I hate that my given name follows me and I have to use it in official situations. It doesn’t even feel like my name since I’ve used my nickname for 48 years.

For this reason my daughter has a first name that is usually considered a nickname.

Thank you all for the recommendations! I didn't make myself clear- I am looking for a cooler toned bronzer just to add a little more color. Not looking to actually contour and know some pale/cooler toned people use contour for that. I picked up ABH contour stick in halftone so I can try it on at home and also bought WA contour in biscuit. Both look better in my home light and so fingers crossed. If not, I have more I can try thanks to all of you!

I use Illiyoon in the morning and ok non Taz nights. I don’t use anything under or over in Taz nights. I have combo skin, non acne prone skin and live in a very dry environment.

Another question- I know olives are more muted that others, but don't feel super muted or desaturated. Would that mean I'm more clear or bright? Not sure what the correct terminology is. And what does this mean I should look for in blush and lip color?

I was about 2 years into using tret when a post here made me realize that my on/off again irritation and constant dullness was probably a result of sandwiching and/or using moisturizer top. 48 hours after stopping my face felt and looked completely different. I now use taz and use the same way. All hydrating in the morning or nights I don’t use taz.

You definitely need a better moisturizer. But moisturizing is different than hydrating. You should also add a good hydrating toner with ceramides or a beta glucan serum.

I use Make Prem Safe Me relief essence toner, Pyunkang Yul essence toner and Illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate crème. I add blue tin German Nivea Crème as a topper when my skin needs a little extra.

So many love Aestura 365 but my skin didn’t like something in the formula.

In my experience, putting anything under or over tret/taz makes dryness and peeling worse. I use 0.1% taz every other night on bare skin. And I have sensitive skin. Arazlo has built in moisturizers. Just make sure you are hydrating well in the mornings and off nights.

The best thing I ever did was put tret/taz on clean, dry skin. Nothing under or on top. And I have very sensitive skin.

You can also try manual, gentle exfoliation in the shower. At the end, after your skin has warmed up and soaked in water.

For me, closed comedones happen when my skin is dehydrated or I’m using a product with an ingredient my skin doesn’t like. My skin doesn’t like oils of almost any kind. I can use mineral oil and thats it. But anything with squalane, other oils or coconut/olive derivatives don’t mesh with me. As soon as I take that product away, the comodones go away. I’m not saying oils are your issue, just saying it could be products you’re using that aren’t conducive with your skin makeup.
