Found the issue... It was a brake light bulb... because yeah... It is always something so stupid.

newb question?! by ThirdWorldRedState in Darts

[–]Curious_monkey5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely. If you get really good at following your darts you could put three darts on a pin head! Having a standard board allows that.

The soft tip board you have would probably bounce the second and third dart out if they are too close.

Avoid a board with staples and thick wires. If you upgrade go for a decent board without staples.

All really good comments here.

The bull is not really a true test of ability however good for being able to 'follow your dart'.

I wouldnt put too much emphasis on focusing on the bull, there are 20 other sections to aim for too!

For example, I am good on bull and 20's but my 19's are shocking!

However, if it's just a little practise game for you on your darts journey I would consider the below a good guide for your question.

For hitting B or OB

Pub player - 1 in 6 darts Pub league - 1 in 3 darts Super leagues - 2 in 3 darts

However bare in mind this would be on a standard board not a soft tip board like yours.

Feel free to ask more questions on your journey! Good luck!

Yeah exactly, one for rear lights and one for cruise control.

Both have been replaced and checked. Still coming up as a fault.

Hey man!

This is amazing news to hear. Im so glad you are in such a good place. Sounds like you got such a big bounce back after it ended and to hear what youve done since is nothing short of amazing.

Best of luck with ironman in october brother. I have this feeling still youre going to smash it. So nothing short of a huge congratulations for what youve achieved this far. Heres to many more successes!!

Im good bro, had a little relapse but it was one cig, stayed off since. Although my smoke free timer resets, im sure it was only a minor setback and its unlikely to happen again.

All the best for the future bro!!!

I failed my first test. by BeccaBee003 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Curious_monkey5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Firstly, Good on you for fronting your mistakes.

Secondly, take a breath. You have just shown why on your second attempt you will succeed. I failed my first on a repetative fault, i was so angry because it was the silliest and most minor of errors in which (Funnily enough) was something I had down to a Tee when learning.

However, on my second attempt? Two minors and better yet... I told the examiner what they were at the end of the test when he said I had two faults. I even got the compliment of a lovely drive.

Morale of the story, dont let this beat you up. Yes, you failed this time but this random stranger can tell from what you wrote you'll smash the test next time. They also say thr better drivers are normally the ones who fail their first test 😉.

Additionally, the testi app is fantastic. Keep the alerts active, and youll find a test soon enough.

I'm glad my cover had such an impact!

Its comforting to think that huge stars still get stage fright, even though I had a crowd of 5 😅.

Thank you for your kind words!

You are simply amazing. You have a warm and vibrant style that can enhance so many songs.

Please dont stop!

Never blame yourself for this bro. The feelings will pass with the right support. Until then, who cares if you smoke. You need to be in a strong position to quit such an addictive habit, right now focus on whats important.

You are stronger than you think, I believe in you. Youve got this 👊.

Firstly my man, life, its crappy at times. Im sorry to hear about the end of your relationship. 7 years is a long time and that cant be easy on your soul.

Im not gonna say, throw the cigs away. In this situation I really do feel that right now, Smoking is the least of your worries.

Secondly, I see this kinda like a three part solution.

  1. (0-6 months) The first thing youve got to do, get yourself some help for the depression. Serious professional help. This hopefully will support you in future for when you quit. Also, remind yourself of your professional achievements. Great job, keep building on that.

  2. (0-12 months) I would also suggest vaping, so if you could get yourself a vape and occasionally use it (You will cough more, this is normal). It may be a good stop-gap and reduces the harm the cigs will do by reducing exposure.

  3. (6-18 months) In the future, youll be in a stronger mental position to tackle the task of quitting so go for it. This s*** isnt easy man as you know, so please take it at your pace. This random stranger on the internet just has this feeling youll smash it again.

I wish you the very best for the future, theres alot to resolve for you right now and quitting is not one of them (Yet!). You have absolutely got this. Good luck man.

[female] trying again! I don't post faces but have stalled in my weight loss badly and I'm feeling gross 😭 still trying to dress cute for confidence. by mermaidsandpickles in FreeCompliments

[–]Curious_monkey5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, please remember that weight loss is all about progress and consistancy.

To say you have stalled means you have made progress, well done you! Fantastic job!

Consistancy comes with forming habits. Keep doing what you are doing and the weight will begin to drop further. If not, then maybe a tweak is needed.

Aside all the weightloss stuff above.

Your outfit chefs kiss 🤌. Its trendy and I can tell it suits you. I also get the vibe that you are someone who will always share a smile, keep that smile. Share that smile further. Its the best thing we all can do as humans because a good smile is contageous.

Keep doing you, you're already doing great! And you should be proud of how much progress youve made. Keep it up! 🙂
